This means she can often come off as a very cold soul, but really she is looking to protect all who she encounters. She is often only motivated by self and can be very hard to persuade with promises of gifts, rarities, or even love. Her decisions are often based on only hard facts, never feelings or gut instincts. She can't afford it.
Beneath it all, if you ever prove to her that you are a pure soul who will not beg the wrath of her curse, Jury is alone and broken. Spending so much time by herself to discover the truth about her bloodline's past and eventual downfall before the curse has been her mission in life. Judgment, an accidental demi-god of purgatory, is very stoic and aloof. Having seen the glories of a promised land and the horrors of Hades, Judgment does little to persuade anyone to a different path.
He takes his job as a guide from the recently departed very seriously—as in the realm of the afterlife he is a pawn. All his ‘subjects’ are wayward souls and he does not take a liking to them. He is not one for head games—everything is clear cut and he will not hesitate to condemn a soul to a destination before they have even reached Purgatory.
He speaks rarely, and when he does it is very decisive information. If only he knew what was to come with his fated meeting with Jury…

Verdict is seemingly the bi-gendered voice of reason in the pair. Tending to be more like the proverbial “angel” on Judgment’s shoulder, it truly does follow its name. It tries to bring reason and both sides of the story into what is going on, and is often the voice that gets pushed around for being just a little too soft-spoken.
Punishment, on the other hand, seems to be the original head of their former body and is all male. He is often quick-tongued and more willing to doom something than try to salvage it. Which is why he is offset so nicely by Verdict, one would guess: he instantly condemns and Verdict tries to save. The proverbial “devil” on Judgment’s shoulder—he takes situations at face value and brings up the worst case scenarios.
While both coexist relatively peacefully, they are almost always chattering at one another for something that they think the other mistook. They may share a body, but their minds are light years apart.

If it comes to a choice on his shoulders, he has been known to give fate the ultimate decision and flip a coin. When he is in contact with one of his siblings, it’s often Jyn—who he feels he must try and save from the curse she did not ask for or deserve. In truth, he would give up his life and body to allow his sister to live her life when he feels there is very little need for him to be living his. He does not trust Runako, and feels his motives for further knowledge will only get Jyn killed.

Stayne was born into the busy life of royal help. He spent most of his years trying to work his way up the ladder to being the royal's right-hand man. Of course, just about the time he was up for the promotion the Queen asked him to do her one last test as a favor. That night, Stayne slayed the King where he slept and the Queen took full control. For a while life was...livable. Though disgusting but in love with him, the Queen relied on Stayne for all her dirty work to be done. When she was dethroned and Stayne sentenced to go with her into exile...something in the Knave snapped. He slaughtered the woman he had so longed to serve with such ease and exhilaration that he began to crave that feeling again and again.

Stayne is a trickster, a thief, and very much off his rocker. While not outwardly so, he has bigger and better dream for himself than being a hired assassin and therefore "pet" to the rich snobs who happen to want somebody dead. While he has no problem doing the killing (quite the opposite, he lives for the rush of warm blood) he does his best to swindle his employers out of the most money possible for the job. He keeps rather odd "souvenirs" from his jobs as well; their molars. He has a small chain of molars in his home--and each and every one he can remember the person it came from. Why he keeps molars is unknown, but in the very least it is a good idea not to ask too many questions of the questionably insane assassin.

Calm, quiet, and with an everlasting compassion that may make some sick—Muut is a very kindly Grim Reaper figure. Due to his past and his species alike, Muut is not frightened or thrown into despair by death. He knows it comes for all creatures. But he has seen that scared faces of souls leaving their bodies—one face in particular—and has since moved on to act as a friendly guide into the next life.
