Mirua is Kanika's eldest daughter, and Aina's stepdaughter. She has a surprisingly good relationship with her stepmother and her mother, although their familial relationship was not always the best. When she was eight, her mother and stepmother took her and their triplet daughters and fled from Aldrect to Medicai, and it would be several years before Mirua (or her sisters) would understand why.
When the time came for Mirua to pursue higher education, instead of returning home to Aldrect to attend the college she had always spoken of attending, she instead went to Nabias. While she was there, she opened up a boutique that was decently successful, but a part of her was always looking back at her home in Aldrect. After nineteen years away from the only place she'd felt was home, she returned, purchasing her mother and stepmother's old house, as well as a shop in the main square.
Mirua had almost resigned herself to starting a new life in Aldrect when three of her friends set her up on a blind date, insisting that she needed to be more social. Begrudgingly, she agreed to one date, not expecting the man she'd been set up on the date with to be someone she knew--and someone that she had liked for quite some time.
