Esalda is a very serious young lady. Raised in the world's only dragon slaying community as the granddaughter of the leader of the clan, she tends to be very controlling. Her ideals of a proper dragon slayer over shadow her wants as a girl and she takes great responsibility in her role.
Because of her warrior upbringing and her own self expectations as a fighter, Esalda never really had friends growing up and didn't partake in horsing around with her brothers. In fact, she has the humor of a rock. Thankfully, Dalistad find that in itself amusing.

Esalda and Dalistad have an oath binding to one another that connects his life to hers (but not the other way around). It was a contract started by her grandfather when the dragon found himself in their camp by mistake.

Parelli is one of many sons. He is a working man, as a Priest Knight of the South Kingdom of Asrin. His rank is not very high in his company, but their uniforms are exceptionally striking so Parelli's appearance is always noted in foreign environments; it likely would be regardless of his colorful garb. Parelli is a thin man with a square nose and round jaw. His shoulders are wide, but his limbs are not particularly thick. His skin is pale and blue veins streak his body in chaotic stripes that reside just under his thin flesh. His eyes are the same sort of blue and stand strongly against the red war paint the Knights wear.

As a Priest Knight, Parelli is expected to handle the spiritual war paths of battle. He is not seen as valuable being that the warriors of physical battle can not see the purpose of what he does nor the results of his work.

Later in his time line (when he is introduced to Yanori) Parelli will be in the process of being transported to the sacred mountains of Bei'Jodan to purge his body of a curse that is now running through his blood. His veins are now running dark grey and boils ravage his form. Parelli will make a deal with the Tisnian guardian, Sisol, that with bind his soul to the land until he defeats the evil that cursed his body. In time, Pirelli's body will fail him (after being in a coma for a long while) and he will become something very similar to the ghost dog himself.

Contrary to his tough guy act, Boss is honestly a good person. He and his gang are just a bunch of good guys put in a bad position. Being that Boss is a man focused on the present and the future, he really doesn't talk about past things. If you were to get him to talk on the subject at all, his memory would be very vague and have large holes in the events that took place. This being because boss tries hard to forgive himself for the past and let it go. It's sort of his only way to survive his conscience. His clearest memories come from before he had to resort to thievery and other necessary crimes. His oldest friend is a dim witted man named "Shortie". Possibly the only person in the whole world Boss would give up everything for, in fact, he has. This bond comes from a deep rooted debt he owes the kind giant. Something he'll likely never speak of, but will always live by.
