A rough looking individual eyes you from the entrance of a rather shady looking alleyway. After a pause, the gangster spits on the ground, feet shuffling, then slips back into the darkness of the alley. "Guess you ain't a tourist. C'mon, I know where you wanna go." The hoarse voice echoes in the darkness, and muffled sounds of music and people can be heard from somewhere beyond. The air stinks of city filth and decay, flickering lights barely cut through the hazy darkness. You hesitate.

To put in a nutshell: A cheerful, simple girl who only wants to make art, please her friends, and live quietly in whatever home she has made for herself. That doesn't always happen. Ava's childhood was a lonely one, with distant parents and scary relatives that are mixed up in the pharmaceutical business. She is desperate to please anyone, and is desperate for approval, especially from those she thinks have authority over her. Ava is almost stupidly loyal, and often to the wrong people. This can be taken to the extreme, and she can sacrifice almost anything, even herself, if she thinks it would help whoever she has attached herself to. However, that's just in a bad-au scenario. On a normal basis, Ava is a kind, cheerful friend, who goes above and beyond for her friends, and loves for them to be happy.
Has huge weaknesses for bunnies and sweets.

He's reckless, likes to get roughed up, and relishes fighting as a show of strength. He's a man of passions and will not hesitate to do something if he wants it, or believes it to be right. He is selfish, and the only code he follows is the one he makes up at any moment. But he also likes to have fun, and he lives for whatever adrenaline or emotion induced high he can make. In his own way, he cares about people, but sometimes he views relationships as passing things that aren't worth to make too much of an effort to maintain. His philosophy towards everything is, "why should I bother?" If he wants something, he'll take it, but if he doesn't personally feel the need, he won't. On a regular basis, he's cool and collected, but if you challenge him, he's quick to anger and twice as fast to attack.))

Her step-uncle, a pawn shop broker, set up her current job, and she lives in the upstairs room in his house. Her mother remarried, and her step father disappeared, forcing Campbell to work to support herself.

So she's a bit of a handful, because she always needs to be doing something, and once she gets started on a project, or with helping a person, she doesn't stop until she thinks that the task is 100% finished. Stubborn, loyal, and filled with an idealistic can-do attitude. Casserene can do this because she's either a princess or a cherished daughter. She doesn't cope well with failure, and she doesn't like being disappointed. When she's mad, she can make some rash decisions.

Eli is an easygoing boy, who likes music, but does not have any particular aim for what he wants to do. Eli doesn't really know what it is he likes; he just goes along with whatever is happening at the time. Because of this, he can get wrapped up in doing tasks or errands for other people. He works part-time in his mother's flower shop, and often does a lot of the deliveries. He has a moped/scooter thing that he uses to travel around town. His only real passion is for the piano, which he could spend hours playing, but he hates performing for other people. Eli also dabbles in playing the clarinet and guitar for fun. Eli is a bit of a pushover, but he is amiable and easy to get along with. Doesn't have a really good memory for people or faces, and he is hesitant to join a relationship that seems like it would be too much trouble than its worth. But he doesn't know how to say no to a request, and he'll end up going along with other people's flow, just because it's not worth fighting.

Painfully shy and introverted, it takes a long time to get Freylan to open up to anyone, or to express herself properly. She finds her home in books and in her all-consuming love of looking at the stars, and all things astronomy. Small things and little moments of peace make a happy Freylan. Loud noises and crowds and unfamiliar people make a very unhappy Freylan. While it takes a long time for her to befriend someone, once she does, she will stick by them, and love them unconditionally.

Gareth used to be a pretty bloodthirsty knight when he was younger, and he used to be the best knight and would basically do anything the king asked him to do. His king is actually not a very good king; the king is very corrupt and likes bullying his subjects. Gareth only realized this after he fell in love with a castle maid, who was a real firecracker, and she sassed the king for being a vicious tyrant. Annnnd the king ordered Gareth to kill her, and Gareth did, but he kind of broke his own heart in the process. Gareth left the court and renounced his titles and lands and the king was mad at him, but now Gareth goes around helping people and trying to regain the honor that he never had.

Even though he can't fight in the field anymore, he feels lost without a mission or a purpose, and has no other skills but combat skills. Ian used to be a proficient fighter, and he still is very competent with weapons and combat, even though his dominant hand is busted. He was assigned to the werewolf boy project because of this, and because there weren't any other places for him to go. That doesn't mean he likes the organization––he doesn't trust science types or the things they're doing. Ian is a bit lost, but a part of him is trying to find some meaning in his life.

She does not trust angels, thinking that they abandon people who are suffering from demon's. June's heart is a heavily guarded fortress covered with barbed wire. She has never accepted her mother's murder, and she has nightmares and panic attacks occasionally. She is always wearing the same clothes, and reeks of cigarette smoke, and is a little too happy to be doing human experimentation, but she is a genius who understands genetic splicing better than anyone. Dr. Albright doesn't have much of a conscience, but she enjoys the fact that Ian is taking a different method in taming Cheol-su. Most of the other trainers probably use force to make their creatures submit.

Mel is one of my oldest characters of the bunch, even though she looks and acts like the most innocent child. Inquisitive, nosy, curious, Mel will try to know every single dirty secret, and then some. It's not that she wants to blackmail you (even though she could), Mel just likes knowing. In her original character idea, Mel is a 7 year old fortune teller, who is unable to stop seeing other people's futures. This makes her a little unhinged, but she was able to focus her energy after awhile. The presence of her stoic bodyguard, Seth, also calms Mel down. In a more modern/realistic setting, Mel is not a fortune teller, but that doesn't stop her from trying to find out dirt on you. Mel spends her days romping around town with Seth, poking her nose into where it doesn't belong. Tricky, flirtatious, a crafty, but she does have a soft side. She just has to be willing to be soft.
