Along the eastern coast of Lambastia, in-between the Vast Plains and the Roraldi Forest lies a small cave facing away from the coast. It gives off a mysterious aura that captivates creatures and people alike, the entrance is not as large as some would expect it to be, about six feet wide and nine feet tall. Its is large enough to be comfortable for men, but that's not the real problem as the kin of men are not the ones living here.
The entrance of the cave narrows a little bit for about ten feet into the cave, then it suddenly expands into a large room around forty feet in diameter. The top of the cave is lined with small stalactites, though the floor seems to be clean and smooth, and a dripping sound can be heard in the distance. Near the center of the cave lies a small desk made out of granite and infused with obsidian. On the desk is a large book with many different names and pictures, at the top of one of the pages reads:
"Guest Directory"
The rest of the desk is littered with pens and other forms of office supplies, including an odd looking lamp that seems to just be a floating ball giving off a large amount of light, the only source of light being given besides the faint glow from the entrance, and the other holes in the walls that seem to lead further into the cave.
Though being underground, the cave seems to have a regulated temperature, and around the entrances to some of the tunnels, the temperature seems to drop and rise, sightly and drastically, around each different entrance. A man comes out from one of the entrances that seems to feel a little colder than the others. He wipes his shoulders and some flakes of snow seem to fall off and settle on the floor of the cave before melting. The man grumbles to himself and he moves towards the desk. He is wearing a suit with a white undershirt and very sharp black pants. He has multiple scars on his hands and his hair is combed slightly to the right. He reaches for a wooden chair behind the desk and he quickly takes a seat. He seems to be the only caretaker of the place, as he has been the only sign of life since the entrance of the cave.
He looks up and gazes at the entrance of the cave, seemingly bored with his menial task of the upkeep of the cave. He slouches slightly and brings out a pocket watch from his left jacket pocket and quickly closes it and rises from his sitting position. He makes his way out of the cave and walks to face the coast. He sighs and then walks about a hundred paces before vanishing in a puff of grey smoke with a tint of blue. The place where he disappeared from has a glowing rune on it and the ground is slightly singed and it smells a little of burned toast.
