This sanctuary has stood at the western edge of the Roraldi Forest for so long that none can truly remember who built it, or even what its purpose once was. Over the many centuries it has seemed abandoned, falling deep into disrepair and eventually being completely lost to the modern world. Inside however is an entirely different story, though has only whispers of its former glory the sanctuary still functions if one knows where to look inside. Now it is a library which collects odd scraps of information from around the world, a place where knowledge is still considered sacred.

The Infinity Guardian Archive

Once the Archive stood as a shining example of wealth and learning, with books and documents on a vast amount of subjects. No one really knows at what point the Archives fell into ruin, nor what became of the strange man who'd built it. Now it stands in ruins at the edge of Roraldi Forest, fallen to its current state of ruin. What is strange is that this place continues to function with no oversight, keeping records on both species that find themselves in this world, among other things. While those who work for, or belong to, the Archive are a very secretive lot. They mean no true harm, following this final directive from the mysterious man who gave them a home.

Graxora

Graxora is a school for the "Other" community, where many are welcomed. Hidden from the mortal world by a portal, it is considered to be the safest school for them. Here students are welcome to find their own path in magic and life, away from their parents and other influences. While most of the students are average Others, though all are welcomed. Still this school and its teaching are not to be taken lightly, as students have vanished or been killed over the years; either by their own accidents or something darker.

The Council of Essence

An ancient and secretive organization of beings who have controlled the magic of this world for ages. Many of the members of the council are also of the original bloodlines of their races. While the council themselves is a priority, there are several houses under each of the represenitives. Houses are both elemental with a bit of special ability.

The Crash

The Crash is the residence of a strange group known as the Net, hackers with unique and unusual powers and capablities. They can affect the machines and data which they work with, but a few of them can also venture into the virtual world.

Orion Industries Projects:

Project Ares

Project Ares was the first of the Orion projects to take shape, born and bred weapons of destruction. These weapons were created from the DNA of beings found through out the world, beings once thought of as the most pure of their kind. While considered the first true success of both creating and training these weapons, Ares was also a critical failure when the subject banded together and escaped what was known as the "School". There are five main "domains" of this project, meant to take different roles in battlefield tactics and war.
Alpha company is a group of beings capable of controlling the elements.
Omega company comprises War, Death, Pestilence, Conquest, and Famine; who are meant to soften up a target.
Delta companyis the main soldier group, capable of blending in with most others in the world, though they possess a level of strength unmatched.
Sigma company is the main intelligence gathering group, specializing in infiltration and spy work.
Psi company is the last of the groups, a perfect blend of intelligence and psychic capability. They specialize in Illusion and mental breaking.

Project Divinity

Project Divinity was one of the second generation project created by Orion, in the interest of replacing the lose of Ares. Those born into this project were from the DNA of beings found buried across the world who were believed to be gods or divine beings. They are one of two types, either beneficial or destructive.

Project Zodiac

Project Zodiac is the only third generation project to date, and the most heavily guarded. While their purpose of existence is unknown to all but Orion Industries and those who monitor the project, it is also the weakest of the projects. Those born into Zodiac live in the outside world, thinking they are unmonitored, and mostly unaware of what they are. A sort of sleeper solider hidden in plain sight, these beings are not to be underestimated.

Project Zirnitra

Project Zirnitra was created by Orion as a means of resurrecting several long dormant or dead races of Others, those  who have all but vanished or whose powers have recessed to the point of making the members mortal. The survivors of the initial tests were those whose inborn magical abilities or racial traits were strongest, and those of purest bloodlines. They were split up by race, in order to avoid conflicts among the children of the project.

Lymione Packs

The Lymione are a race of humanoids capable of shifting between their human and wolf forms, who inhabit many different regions. These creatures are the children of wolf gods and goddess, some monstrous and fear beasts to have lived. There unusual make up and varying in sub-races make them one of the most adaptable races which inhabit the realm. Most Lymione prefer to live in packs, as it is in their nature to work together for common goals that better their community. Though they work together very well, the different sub-species do not always get along. In fact a few of the sub-races have hostile interactions that have led to laws which keep their territories from bordering one another for an uneasy peace. Despite this unease among their own kind, few Lymione are known to go after other races. They are generally a peaceful lot when it comes to interacting with other races, though Lymione of demon, shade, or magically created are well known for their aggressive natures towards other races. Currently there are thirteen (13) known packs which inhabit Evelon, each with its own special traits and heritage.

Magic Wielders

Magic wielders are a wide class of humanoids, which include: Mages, Magi, Sorcerers, Zhivoima, and Jäktsu. While most are beings that look very human and easily blend into the mortal world, all bare a marking of their power. Most commonly these marks are physical in nature, from their very appearance to simple birth marks easily hidden from the world. Rarely will a magic wielder have an aura marking, only those baring great power have these. They are governed by laws, upheld under the Arcane Council, which allow them to live without being hunted like animals. Though most magic wielders are born with their abilities, it is known that mortals are capable of using magic, as even mortals are born with a small amount of magic. Those considered sorcerers, or mortals using spells and simple magics, are welcomed among magic wielders. They are however kept a close eye on, due to their known tendency to abuse their power.

Vampires

Vampires are a strange race, something banished to the realm of myths and lore. While there are two classes of vampire, those born as they are; there are also those who are "turned" or changed by power. Many vampires are all too happy to live and lurk in the shadows of the world, believed to not exist. The race itself has come a long ways from what they called their own "dark ages", when their kind ran wild. Now governed by rules both of their clan, and those of the council, they've become a far more powerful and sophisticated group.

Beyond the Rift:

A game called Rift has risen in popularity across the world, which allows people to enter a virtual reality world with groups of creatures from different games to battle one another and explore this world. Each player is allowed to upload the different parties from their phones and other devices, and then interact with them outside the normal boundaries of the original games. However one night, during a super moon eclipse, a strange glitch occurred. The first eight players to log in that night were sucked into a new world with the boundaries between realities was weakest, and woke up in Evelon. Their phones had become strange new devices, ones that allowed them to track down the creatures who'd been in each of their parties, in order to recapture them.  Now alone in a strange world, the eight teenagers find themselves on an adventure of a lifetime, with no easy way to get home.  

However they aren't adventuring alone, in fact each of them learns that the different teams they registered in game are here in this new world. They only have to find each creature which is registered to them by following their new devices, and along the way find out if they're stuck here forever, or have a chance at going home again.

Tyria's Lost Few

The Lost Force:

These few were lost when a human attempt at a Asura gate opened in Orr on their way to fight Zhaitan. They found themselves in a new world, and seperated from one another in it. They were a small group who followed a member of the Pact, with two Charr warbands, and one small guild. Now they aren't even sure how to get home, though their new world doesn't have the same level of threat.


The Last Dragon Son

A group who followed a strange man, one who came from another world before he went to Tyria. These few stood and found at the battle against Mordremoth. However the battle came with its own toll, and when he decided to move on from Tyria, they were willing to follow him.

Because of her purpose Eeva rarely leaves the Library for any real stretch of time, preferring to be close to her work and those she is meant to watch over inside the walls of the sanctuary. She is a motherly sort of being, always soothing the pains and fears of the staff members with a soft voice that reminds most of music.

Despite these sort falls Mizan is a helpful and kind creature who loves to meet new people and enjoys the stories they often tell. On rare occasions however Kuu has showed herself to be beyond the limits of any normal feline, even to the surprise of Aldis once or twice. Te is a mysterious figure who resides within the Sanctuary; he claims to be her devoted servant and is usually the second face those who find themselves lost within the Sanctuary Library. Most of the time Te seems like a good natured man, concerned with the welfare of others; to many of the residents of the Nexus he is a guiding soul who is both protective and kind. Te is one of the most trusted faces within the library,truth is no one really sees the strain of his burdens. While Te is well behaved in front of guests, he is actually a cynical creature who has little care for the creatures which pass through the gate, his marking are of strife and long journey; marks placed upon him by the celestial primal beings. In the night when many of the residence are asleep or busy with their own lives, he is allowed to be his true self. Part of his reason for being in such a place is the curse written on his arm, Te was one a divine creature, messenger of Aripha the Divine of Laughter and Lights; his whole world changed when Raiphil captured his mistress and cursed him for attempting to stop the Divine. He was then tied to original creator of the Sanctuary, now he goes through his day to day life trying to seem at ease.Te wishes secretly for revenge against those who wronged him and severed his ties with the Divine he served, to the point where he spends many of his free hours researching mythology on how to kill the Divines. The collar and golden bell he wears is a symbol of his failure of revenge when the Divines struck him down again.

Maiko happens to be a free spirited young spirit tamer, one who thinks outside the box more often than traditionally. While she is close with Kiko, Maiko tends to not be so willing to break the rules as much as she is to bend them. Despite this she often does her best to get Kiko out of trouble, often by making something of a bigger mess to distract their mentor. A spirit sealer, Tsukka is used to working with spirits. Known best for her fast temper, Tsukka can be a live wire and a powder keg when she isn't controlling herself. Unlike Kiko, Tsukka has no patience or compassion for spirits that roam the world of the living. To those living Tsukka can be a lively and wild kind of person, who lives her life on the edge. She's been known to aid in the resending of a demon, or any other unnatural creatures. When not working on tracking down, or sealing away a spirit; Tsukka loves to live it up. She's well known in several establishments for her ability to hold her liquor, her coy attitude, and her freedom in relationships. It isn't really known which gender Tsukka prefers, it is known that most of her lovers don't last three days in her world. Hita is normally a morbid, dark being, with a twisted sense of humor; hell she’s normally just twisted. She can be cruel, calloused, and stubborn when she so chooses to be, unwilling to allow anyone else to aid or advise her. Though she would never kill anything or anyone herself, Hita is fascinated by death and what happens to those who die. This might be because of her ability to sense and speak with the spirits of those who've passed on, which have repeatedly been the cause of her being cast out and shunned by many others, including her own parents. Anna is a bubbly young woman who is always outgoing and warm to anyone she meets. That normally how Anna presents herself, though she is well known for being a bit of a scatter-brained young woman. Often her disorganized behavior has lead to most people thinking she is nothing more than an air-headed mage, a ditz and a bit of a klutz as far as her abilities go. Her brother and her close friends know better, Anna may often lose her notes or forget the incantation for a spell but she’s far from an idiot. She is however a very upbeat personality, translating to her being happy-go-lucky and often hyper if allowed too much sugar (something her brother often tries to prevent). Leia is a strange sort of being, left one day at a church in Aldrect without so much as a note. The story of her life is extremely complicated, since Li actually has the soul of a long dead and forgotten oracle inside her. Having been adopted by the same family as Hita, she grew up with her “big sister” always protecting her and felt as though Hita would always be there. Leia  is by all means considered a very kind and gentle sort, a loving and deeply compassionate young woman.  She not only cannot bring herself to say an unkind word, and will in no way defend herself from a verbal or physical attack. Keit has been Ialu’s best friend for years, being the only one who understood his seeing monsters and other things. Most of the time Keit is a laid back guy, it seems nothing can ruffle or fluster him in the least. Laila is a girl you really want to be careful with, she sort of falls into that category of "looks can kill". Almost no one at the academy realizes that she's a vampire, let alone that she is a strong one. She has a way of presenting herself in a sweet and innocent light, often using her powers and charm to appear like any teenage girl would. Really that's her hunting technique, and she's perfected it.
