Stoffelees' Sanctuary

Entering a friendly looking zoo you are approached by an odd looking girl.

"Greetings! And welcome to my sanctuary, feel free to browse but please don't feed anyone. Very few of the creatures here are tame enough to interact with guests, but if you'd like to, the farm exhibit is a bit of a petting zoo. Please enjoy your visit." With that she gracefully walks into the zoo, the tip of her tail playfully waving back and fourth.

Before moving forward, you notice a beautiful seal stating that the
owner of the zoo seems to take part in the breeding of Kuhnas.

Open-Area Exhibits

As you enter the zoo you see the first enclosures. Each one is bordered by
a strong iron fence, but the fences seem rather decorative and inviting.

While walking next to the fence, you notice a neat little sign. Squinting to read it, you
realize it is there to explain the names of each of the inhabitants of the exhibit.

Okalik --> pronounced ook-ah-lick ('ook', as in 'book'). It means Arctic Hare in the Inuktitut language.
Ehtele' --> pronounced eh-tea-lee. This name comes from Tolkien's Language of the Elves and translates to mean the spring season.

Helice --> In Greek mythology, Helice is the Goddess of the Great Bear (Ursa Major). It is actually another name for Callisto.
Cali --> Named after a raccoon of real life who was taken in as a baby by a wildlife rehaber named Rezzie and her family, this sweet but silly girl was always wanting attention even up to the day she was gleefully released in the summer of 2007.
Crash --> Named after a raccoon of real life who was taken in as a baby by a wildlife rehaber named Rezzie and her family, he was the only boy of his bunch that was raised for that season but he would never let anyone forget it. Although more of a mama's boy, this coon grew like a weed and on the day of his release in the spring of 2007 an interesting comment was made: "Why is there a bear in with the raccoons?!"
Chica --> Named after a raccoon of real life who was taken in as a baby by a wildlife rehaber named Rezzie and her family, Chica was the smallest of the bunch. She never played too rough and was always ready for some loving even up to the day of her release in the spring of 2007.

among all the pens. Her name is Symona. She gives you a graceful nod and moves on.

After walking through the Glass Exhibits you realize that you've come to another set of Open-Area Exhibits. Approaching the first pen you see a large symbol marking the fence.

The Cursed


It seems this exhibit is for creatures unlucky enough to be cursed. In their sad state, they all seem to get along just fine, more or less just ignoring one another. To one side of the pen is a lake, housing the aquatic inhabitants.

The Imperials

Leaving the Purines, there is a large solid wall preventing the residents of the previous pen from seeing the inhabitants of the next pen. The next pen holds the Imperials. It too has a symbol adorning the gate, this one consists of a hand with a sun resting upon its palm.

The pen seems to be just like the Purines, perhaps there's some sort of relationship between the two you wonder. To one side of the pen is a lake, housing the aquatic inhabitants.
