Re: Twenty Questions? Maybe more.

Postby Soriana » 02/09/2011 11:10 PM

Happens all the time to me. Although dreaming for me has lately become a very rushed affair. I usually can't even tell when I'm lucid dreaming. I suspect I do so often, because I try to shut my eyes in the dream world with my objective being to wake up in the real world.

Have you ever had a dream you swore you'd had more than once before, but weren't sure?

The King beneath the mountains,
The King of carven stone,
The lord of silver fountains
Shall come into his own!

His crown shall be upholden,
His harp shall be restrung,
His halls shall echo golden
To songs of yore re-sung.

The streams shall run in gladness,
The lakes shall shine and burn,
All sorrow fail and sadness
At the Mountain-king's return!

Well, sure; as I mentioned before, they're all in the same world. I visit the plaza with the grocery store, the arcade, the supposedly abandoned building where children labor over the metalworks of an unfinished floor, trying not to get themselves killed...
I visit the woods, which sometimes appear friendly at first, but which always end up killing everyone in them...
I visit the school, where students are violated in the basement.
Or the mall, where I have been kidnapped countless times.
You see, my head is a frightening place to sleep. But I'm never really scared. And, though the places are the same, the scenarios are always different, if only slightly.
So. This happens on a regular basis, though less lately. It must be exhaustion is taking away my dreams. :c

Have you ever had a dream that you were waking up and getting ready after turning off your alarm or dismissing a caller, only to find that you were still actually sleeping?
[I get SO disoriented when that happens to me D:]

Yep.

OKAY! Changing the subject now. XD

Have you ever had a stealth aircraft fly over your house? If so, how powerful was the sonic boom?

The King beneath the mountains,
The King of carven stone,
The lord of silver fountains
Shall come into his own!

His crown shall be upholden,
His harp shall be restrung,
His halls shall echo golden
To songs of yore re-sung.

Yes. Or at least, I think I have. More than once. But that doesn't mean it has to be aliens.

Have you ever loved a song, and it got stuck in your head for a month, and then you ended up hating the song with a fiery passion? +1,000,000 if you kissed and made up with said song.

The King beneath the mountains,
The King of carven stone,

Shall come into his own!

Yup, I've done that before. x3

Ever had several different versions/forms of a character on different websites?

((I have. x3

Nah. Evelon's one of the only virtual pet RPGs I've ever joined. XD Only one I'm still active on, too.

Have you ever been two-timed by a significant other?

Nope! And I've never two-timed anyone, either, although one boyfriend didn't seem to understand what "breaking up" meant. xD

Have you ever done something, knowing full well that you'd regret it later?

What is this, the meeting for the United Federation of Obviousness?

Have you ever forgotten an entire day less than a week after that day occurred?

Pffff, I can barely remember yesterday, let alone the day before that. XD My memory is awful. XP;;

Do you have a trademark, either here or offline?

I have several. I like to stare creepily at people, and even though I'm not physically vain, I like to stare at myself in the mirror and make weird poses with my body. I talk to myself a lot. I am my constant companion. I sing loudly in the shower (was going to post a rant in my journal about singing, but it got too late). I have a good voice. I'm no Jennifer Hudson, but I'm not going to pretend that I can't sing when I can. I mean, considering my grandma was tone deaf, this is an achievement for my family. XD Would love to know where those genes came from. I dress very conservatively and masculinely so as to hide my figure. I don't like being ogled by people. I don't think this counts as a trademark, but I'm tall? I sometimes stand out in a crowd, even and especially when I don't want to.

Now, if you'd asked about catch phrases, my responses would have been far more relevant.

Is there a celebrity you particularly admire for a wide variety of personal reasons?

Uhm, nooo~? Perhaps that Johnny Depp or Helena Botham Carter [if that IS how you spell her name o3o;], if we're talking actors. But the one person I rather admire is Tim Burton, and not for the generic scene kid reasons. I appreciate his ability as an artist~ <3

What are your reasons, if any, for wanting to have someone else's life in place of your own?

You seem to be rather obsessed with this subject. ;3 (And it's Helena Bonham Carter.)

I just want to experience for myself what it was like to live in the 17th and 18th centuries. Maybe ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece, along with medieval England. I'd rather not have to switch lives to do it, though.

Have you ever been really excited for something and then completely forgot what it was, and subsequently experienced a huge mood swing?

I think so. I can't exactly remember the occasion though. X3

If you could be the sidekick/assistant of any fictional character who would you pick?

Well, I'm sure most of you know the obvious ones, but in all seriousness, my decision would have depend on what type of character he/she is; is he/she the type that would need an assistant or sidekick? Would an assistant or sidekick add something to the story?

I totally wanna steal Joshamee Gibbs' job. Sparrow needs all the help he can get, clever as he is.

If you could make one and only one fictional universe a reality--whether by causing it to eclipse the universe we know, or melding it with our universe--which one would it be, and why?
