The aim of the game is very simple... All you have to do is post one of your strange/unusual/weird habits! I figured that this would be a fun little way to get to know one another and, hey, it adds to our post count! Sooo... have fun!

Rules: Don't post twice in a row, and keep it appropriate. That's it!

Examples: Checking under the bed before going to sleep, putting one certain arm in your jacket first, watching your feet as you walk down stairs, singing in the shower, eating something a certain way, etc.

I put a single ice cube in my cereal before pouring the milk in order to keep the milk cold until the end.

Every time I walk through the back door, I have to ask my mom if there’s something on my back. There never is, and I don’t know why I do it, but I always have to know if there’s anything on my back. XD

I try not to step on the cracks in the pavement when I'm walking on the street, including those between slabs of concrete o3o I also step the same number of times with each foot on each individual block of concrete, as in, I make sure that I do. Maybe it's just the self-diagnosed OCD kicking in xD

I often make infinity signs with my fingers or toes, especially if I'm in an awkward or boring situation. I go insane if I don't!

When I'm taking notes really fast at school, the pencil I'm holding will twirl every 10 seconds or so; I can't say I do it on purpose, though. It's more of a subconsience (sp.?) kind of thing. o3o;;

Before I go to sleep or while I'm watching TV in my room in the dark, sometimes I will close my eyes and say that something ~bad~ will happen if I open them again within a certain amount of time. I know nothing will, but still.

Well, ever since I had chicken pox, I can't help but scratch my head, even when it doesn't itch. Also, I never drink Hawian punch unless I have shaken it for at least 5 minutes. Every time I eat dinner in my moms room, I will put my arms behind me, and lay down on my back, but not far not enough to hurt me. I'm not that weird. I hope.

Before I leave my house, I lock the door, jiggle the handle, walk to my car and then walk back to the door and recheck that it's locked. I like to think it's just new house paranoia...^^;

When I get to work in the mornings, I climb out of my car, leave the door open, then mutter aloud to myself: "Keys, purse, mug, apron." If I don't I invariably forget something. It's bad enough if I forget my mug and dehydrate during the day, but leaving work after a long day and realizing I've locked my keys in the car is far worse.

Oh, wow. I have plenty of these. Many I can't remember off the top of my head, but I will once I do them. And Flame, I am guilty of all the same ones. XD
Also I have to get up every 5 seconds to check on my betta fish if I'm not asleep yet. Half of this is me not trusting my cat not to eat them (some of the tanks don't have proper lids) But I could hear the cat if he jumped up on my desk, and I never do, so its pure pethetic instinct when I check on them.
Also, we've trained our dogs that if they want a treat they have to sit, so I always tell them to sit, even if they already are.

Also, I get into the habit of, when my dogs are annoying, I tell them to go lay down. I have started accidently saying that to annoying humans as well, and have gotten completely weird looks from complete strangers who were being pests. And I get laughed at by my friends. (and obeyed by Terrain, but he's an odd kid... XD)

Every time I go into my room, I always have to make sure that my manga are alphabetized. And not just manga; DVDs, video games, everything. My Playstation 2 is sitting on top of my Xbox 360 because P comes before X. My clothes are organized by the first letter of their color, so it's like "Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, Yellow." Within that, they are organized by the shade of the color. And if anything whatsoever is out of place, I freak out.

When there is an awkward silence, people don't know what to say, or when kids are arguing, I shout out "waffles!" in order to solve the issue. At first it was just random for me, to get some laughs. Now it's actually a habit. I just shout it out in those awkward times without thinking about it. x3

If I can't find anything useful to say or I have no comment whatsoever on something, I always say uh-huh.  It's gotten to where I don't even notice I'm doing it - like it's almost second nature or something.  My friend/cousin says it annoys her to no end.  xD

When my friends start arguing I shout "Justice!" to make them stop. It's from something we came up with for Death Note: If Wammy's kids get in an argument, the first one to say "justice" wins. Little weird, but they stop fighting. =3

Strange habits? I have those in spades.
I always sleep with my back facing the window. Always. It helps me believe that nothing is out there to get me.
The instant I'm in my house, I take off my left shoe and sock. It started because I had a blister on that foot and now its ingrained.
I must be listening to music at all times I can get at it. I get jittery and easily distracted without it. Especially when I am writing.
I complusively doodle in the back of notebooks. And I doodle strange stuff. To date, I've designed Christine, my steampunk heroine, doodled enough dragons to make Anne McCaffrey jealous, and drawn enough Slender Man to keep me awake at night.
Whenever I think, I mutter under my breath. Some fun times have come out of explaining some of that...
