(I picked something vaguely British-sounding to do a play on Norry's name. It seems to have worked. By the way, this story should totally involve riddles. *hinthintnudgenudge*)
Young Jamie focused his steely green gaze upon Death, and uttered, "I will let you fulfill your task, but only if you can outsmart me in a game of wits." Of all the souls in the world willing to make a gamble, isn't it ironic that Jamie, a mere boy of seventeen, was the only one brave enough to challenge Death himself?
The King beneath the mountains,
The King of carven stone,
The lord of silver fountains
Shall come into his own!
His crown shall be upholden,
His harp shall be restrung,
His halls shall echo golden
To songs of yore re-sung.
The streams shall run in gladness,
The lakes shall shine and burn,
All sorrow fail and sadness
At the Mountain-king's return!one two three four five
