(( It was the Musketeers, but the French Dictionary was one of only two at hand and the Three Musketeers was the least delicate. I don't actually own any Verne novels, not yet, anyway~ The spider kind of looked like a recluse, I know we don't get them in England but I'd just been reading brown recluse horror stories and I kind of freaked out. XD; I don't make a habit of dropping 1950's books on spiders.))

Around the World in Eighty Days, From the Earth to the Moon, The Mysterious Island, A Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea are good places to start.)
