Some of you have found Evelon's Avatar Gallery, most of you haven't. (Or else you don't like what's in it. Either way, on the page where you change your avatar, go down and click "Display Gallery" ). You'll notice there's some stuff there, but not much. I aim to fix that.
This isn't a "contest", per se, but.. I know some of you guys like to mess around in Photoshop, GIMP, or whatever else you use. So, you can see where this is going. Evelon needs avatars!
Guidelines
1) You make avatars. Or just one if you're lazy, doesn't matter. Post it/them here, and if it meets the criteria and passes aesthetic judgment, it'll get added to the gallery. You'll get 20 KS for each one that gets added. I hope that's a fair reward, I'm picky so you're gonna make more than you'll get paid for. This offer is open up to and including August 1st (yes, that's a little more than a month, so sue me).
2) Images must be 110 x 140 in resolution. That is 110 pixels wide and 140 pixels tall. No discussion, no arguments. I will not resize them for you, if it isn't this size it will be ignored.
3) No animation. That's asking too much for a mere 20 KS. (And I think it gets a bit annoying. )
4) Avatars need not be Evelon-related. However, if you use images from the internet you must make sure that the image's creator allows their use. Please post a link to the source of your image so I can double-check that license rules are upheld. If the creator requires credit, you might consider a solution like this:
See that itty bitty text? That's the image owner's name. Nice and discreet, but it's still there. Brushes/patterns are a bit harder to credit, but if you're looking for copyright-free/loose-copyright brushes, try Brusheezy. Not all, but many, of the brushes there are free to use for whatever. Clicking on the owner/uploader's name will take you to their website so you can double-check their rules. You don't have to post the source of brushes, I don't feel like checking them all and I'll trust you guys. Please don't be thieves, though.
5) Avoid using images of people's custom pets. Yes, your paragon is pretty. No, you're probably the only person who'd ever want to use it as an avatar.
6) I think I covered everything, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
