Juliet almost coughed as the stench of the river assaulted her nostrils, she curled her long tail over her nose; though it provided little protection from the smell. Chester was very much offended; his sense of smell wasn't exactly good; he did have a skull for a head after all. Though really, Juliet should have picked him up here; he didn't like this venomous green river. Juliet didn't dare look down as she walked; there was no railings; if there was one thing Juliet feared it was falling. The minute she looked down and found no railings of any sort her balance would go. Thankfully she reached the other end of the river before she dared to look back.
There was; obviously, something not right. Something felt off to Juliet too; though unlike Prizmo she couldn't place it. Instead she tried to ignore the beginnings of fear that were eating away at her. Even Jack was starting to look tense; that didn't bode well at all.
When they stopped there was no sense of relief, no relief that they were finally here, a small knot of tension was building up, Juliet was one of those people that read about things like this. Though she'd never imagined it would be quite like this. She never dreamed she'd be quite so scared; she'd always assumed herself to be the brave type. Someone that would always be courageous. She didn't feel at all like that now; she may have felt annoyed at the fact she wasn't one of those heroins that would 'save the day', if you forgive the cliché.
"Understood." She said quietly. "Jack? Prizmo?" she began after a moment pause. "Sorry, this is going to sound awfully cheesy; but... Thank you; even if this is just a dream nothing; like this has ever happened to me and it's been an honour meeting you both."
Strangely Chester did actually seem to care about the three people (using the term loosely) in front of him. He'd always had a spot for Juliet, and he'd come to like both Prizmo and Jack. He wagged his striped tail hesitantly; looking at them. He couldn't quite grasp the situation.
