BlurbsMale LucainAbramImage RefLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Kolya (Father), Ruach (Mother), Asher (Brother), Judah (Brother), Malachi (Brother)
Like his brothers, Abram grew up single-mindedly following his father's orders. He was well-versed in armed and unarmed combat, and was personally trained in torture methods by Kolya. For years, he never allowed himself to care about anything or anyone besides his brothers. He couldn't afford to. That all changed when he fell in love, something that was expressly forbidden by his demon father. Although he did his best to hide this relationship from Kolya, the subtle shifts in his personality gave him away. His youngest brother, Asher, appeared in Antoinette's house one night and butchered her because Kolya thought she was too much of a distraction. It wasn't long after that that Abram disappeared. Neither Kolya nor his brothers know where he is, but it is believed that he is searching for something that can kill the demon and free his brothers for good.
As the eldest, Abram has always felt responsible for the well-being of his siblings. This burden has weighed heavily upon him through the years, forming him into a very serious-minded individual. Although he has long since perfected his poker face, he worries about his siblings almost constantly. He isn't much of a people person, and his responses tend to be short and to-the-point. He insists that the people he cares about know how to defend themselves in case his father or one of his minions seek them out, and isn't above attacking them himself to keep them on their toes. In his mind, raising a few bruises on his loved one or busting their lip is highly preferable to watching them die.
Note: Due to his mother's precautions, Abram is completely magic-resistant. Spells do not work on him, and it is impossible for magic-users to sense him at all. It is as if he simply doesn't exist. He possess no magic of his own.
AsherLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Kolya (Father), Ruach (Mother), Abram (Brother), Judah (Brother), Malachi (Brother)
Out of all his brothers, Asher was the only one born susceptible to Kolya's demonic influence. Kolya keeps him on a very tight leash, and has given him the task of making deals with mortals, the 'sign in blood, give up your soul' type of deal. Because of his demonic blood, Asher is able to fulfill all but the most complicated of the favors the mortals seek him and his father out for.
Asher was a softhearted child, but most of that tenderness has been squeezed out of him through the years spent carrying out Kolya's orders. At one point, Asher was forced to execute his eldest brother's girlfriend because Kolya thought she was too much of a distraction. This broke him more completely than anything else had been able to before, and Asher has since given up hoping or fighting for his freedom. While his body carries out Kolya's orders, Asher's mind is silent, his eyes empty.
Note: Due to his demonic heritage, Asher possesses many of the same strengths and weaknesses as his father - he can instantly transport himself anywhere, he has unbelievable regenerative capabilities, contact with holy water is far from pleasant, and he can be caught in a 'devil's trap'. He possesses nearly all the same traits as a full-blooded demon.
CortezLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Sage (Father), Chessa (Sister)
Descended from an ancient race of large wolves with the ability to shift into human form, Cortez roams the streets of the Slums with his sister, Chessa. They are a pack, and the broken city is their territory. Cortez is consumed with the belief that, although they have the ability to look and act like humans, they were meant to be true to their wolfish natures. He's defiant of humans and their laws, not that many of those laws are enforced in the Slums. For the most part, he avoids contact with the two-leggers, but despite himself, there seems to be the hint of a natural protector in him. Could be something to do with the designs etched into his skin when he is in human form...
Cye MouriLifemate Status: Possibly matching with Millie's Jin
Relevant Characters: Sage (Best Friend), Rowen (Best Friend)
A former demon hunter, Cye now works as a chef in a fine restaurant. He is a rather shy young man, with a tendency to stutter in the presence of pretty women. He loves being in or near the water, since he is tied to the element of water, and can often be found swimming in the ocean or walking in the rain. He has a large heart, and loves performing random acts of kindness for his friends.
Dean WinchesterLifemate Status: Open (although his lifemate will still have to put up with some womanizing)
Relevant Characters: Sam Winchester (Brother), Feral (Adopted Daughter of sorts)
He hunts the things that go bump in the night, the monster in the closet, the thing beneath the bed. Demons, banshees, werewolves, he's ganked them all. He has an obsession with 70's-80's rock, leather jackets, and muscle cars. He can be quite a flirt, although he's not the type to stick around for more than a night or two. Traveling cross-country hunting monsters isn't really conducive to stable relationships, after all. He has a cool, 'I don't care' attitude, but once someone makes it to his 'friends list', he'll lay his life (and perhaps even his soul) on the line for them.
DieselLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Kolya (Torturer)
Before Diesel was abducted by the demon Kolya, he was a maintenance man for an apartment complex. To the families who lived there, he was a nice young man who worked hard and took care of his sister. What none of them knew, however, was that Diesel was hiding a secret: he was a shapeshifter, with the ability to shift from human to canine form.
Kolya tortured and manipulated Diesel for months. Diesel finally escaped, but he had lost control of his shifting skills. When he goes to sleep at night, he never knows whether he'll wake up with two legs or four. He might spend a week as a human, then a month as a dog, or perhaps only a few hours. He tends to keep from getting to involved with anyone because he can't risk anyone finding out his secret and having word travel back to Kolya. Nevertheless, he longs for human contact and the kind of friendships he used to have before. He's currently hunting for his sister, who was left behind when he was abducted. He doesn't get along well with cats, no matter what form he's in.
Gideon McAllisterLifemate Status: Open

Gowan McCraeLifemate Status: Open
Gowan is the typical college kid - always running short on cash, always staying up late and oversleeping, always on the lookout for a party to join. He's got a quick wit, and loves to tease in a good-natured way. Since he's on exchange from Scotland, he has a thick accent that makes him popular with the girls. He also has a sixth sense he inherited from his gran, although he doesn't exactly go around telling everyone that.
H. M. MurdockLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Templeton 'Faceman' Peck (Best Friend)
He's insane, and proud of it. His gig as a helicopter pilot in the army landed him a cozy room in the mental ward of the veteran's hospital. He's been diagnosed with multiple mental disorders that, according to the doctors, keep his mind so tangled that he might never be released back into society. Despite that declaration, Murdock somehow manages to escape the hospital on a regular basis, usually to help his friends fight crime in a vigilante manner. He's sweet, impulsive, childlike, naive, and occasionally very wise. He can switch personas at the drop of a hat, and loves speaking in different accents. For the most part, being around Murdock is like riding a roller coaster without a seatbelt, but you'll never find a more loyal friend.
HowlLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Rowen (Father)
Howl is a child of the dream realm, and he helps Holo the Wise create dreams to send to mortals. He isn't all-knowing, but he does get to peek inside the minds of the people Holo the Wise assigns to him. The materials for creating their dreams has to come from somewhere, after all! He marks the dreams he creates with his signature, the howl of a wolf.
When in the human world, Howl tends to be naive and childishly curious about everything. He's a very sweet boy, if a bit absent-minded at times. Although he tries his best to act human like his father, something always gives him away as 'something more'. Sometimes its the fact that he forgets about the rules of gravity, and doesn't always touch the ground when he walks. Most times, however, it's the fact that he can't stand for anything to be plain white. If he runs across something with an overabundance of white, he gets agitated and can't calm down until he can touch it and 'add colors', another skill he received from the dream realm.

JudahLifemate Status: Possibly Millie's Kasen
Relevant Characters: Kolya (Father), Ruach (Mother), Abram (Brother), Asher (Brother), Malachi (Brother)
When Kolya needs to take out a rival's stronghold, he sends Judah and Malachi. Once the two brothers have finished, the area tends to look as though a bomb went off. A natural-born blood mage, Judah is the perfect vehicle for the chaos and destruction his father so enjoys. Judah can kill a person in a myriad of ways, including causing their blood to boil in their veins, or calling their blood from their body through a cut or a scratch.
Although Judah isn't necessarily an advocate of random killing, he was raised to do whatever Kolya ordered without question. The deaths he's caused aren't personal, just a job, though he can't deny the feelings of pleasure working with blood gives him. The alternative to killing would be to defy Kolya, but the punishment he would dole out for such a decision makes that option unthinkable. Recently, however, Judah has been having doubts, spurred on by Abram's disappearance and the realization of what Kolya had turned Asher into. He hasn't yet reached the point of doing anything about those doubts, but it is still a dangerous line he is walking.
Personality-wise, Judah is a smooth operator. He enjoys picking up ladies and has perfected the art of one-night-stands, but takes care never to form attachments. He can be a little haughty in his dealings with others, something he's picked up from Kolya
Note: Due to his status as a blood mage, Judah's powers increase when he ingests blood (animal, human, or his own), although he does this only as a last resort.
KolyaLifemate Status: Closed
Relevant Characters: Diesel (Victim), Ruach (Victim), Abram (Son), Asher (Son), Judah (Son), Malachi (Son)
Kolya is a demon who loves finding beings with interesting skills and twisting them to his own use. What he can't do through persuasion, he does through force. Honestly, he prefers the second option to the first. He's not afraid to get his hands bloody, and has perfected his methods of torture over centuries of practice. He can put on a good act of being friendly if it'll get him what he wants, but ice runs through his veins.
MalachiLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Kolya (Father), Ruach (Mother), Abram (Brother), Asher (Brother), Judah (Brother)
When Malachi was a young teen, he was set on rebelling against his demon father. This resulted in punishments, something that only fueled his desire to escape. When the perfect opportunity for escape presented itself, he took it, intending to track down his mother, whose powers he'd inherited. He managed to elude Kolya for nearly two weeks, but was eventually recaptured. His brothers didn't see him again for a month, and when they did, he was a different young man than he had been before. His skin was covered with half-healed burns, bruises and new scars, one arm was in a sling, and his nose had grown crooked from a recent break. His appearance wasn't the only change, or the worst. The once-rebellious teenager was quiet, submissive, willing to follow Kolya's every order to a tee. He refused to speak of what had happened to him during the month away, but whatever it was had broken his spirit completely.
Although he has a close bond with Judah, Malachi still refuses to discuss the questions Judah raises: is their mother still alive? Could they ever have a life free from Kolya? Those lines of thinking frighten him. Even if he were able to escape Kolya, the punishment the demon would visit upon Asher would haunt his imagination and conscience. And if he tried to escape and failed? He can't even bring himself to think about it.
Note: Malachi is an ice mage like Ruach, but through Kolya's training he has become more disciplined and in control of his abilities than his mother ever was.
Master Jag RajpuurLifemate Status: Open
Perhaps the most unorthodox Jedi Master out there, Master Rajpuur (or Jag, as he prefers to be called) is only tolerated by the rest of the Jedi community because of his status as Blademaster. As such, he is a valuable resource for teaching Padawans, Knights and Masters new methods of dueling.
In battle, no one can match his intense focus and fierceness, but once his lightsaber has been switched off and tucked away, he becomes one of the most laid-back men around. Jag can usually be found mixing it with the common class in one of the local bars, swapping stories and keeping his friends entertained with his dry wit and wisdom. He reads the Jedi Code quite differently from many, and has been known to take a woman back to his rooms on occasion.

Rowen HashibaLifemated to MIllie's Dreamwalker (Akira)
Relevant Characters: Cye (Best Friend), Sage (Best Friend), Howl (Son)
A former demon hunter, Rowen currently works in a daycare center. His friends are convinced he only works there because he likes hitting on all the single moms when they come to pick up their kids, but he really does love taking care of children. The single moms are just a perk. He has a Chicago accent, and has a sarcastic streak that scares some people off, although he doesn't really mean any harm. He has low blood sugar, and has shown the ability to doze off at anytime, anywhere.
Russel GraymarkLifemate Status: Open
Relevant Characters: Lady Nagori (of the same species)
"I'm bored!" When these words leave Russel's lips, look out! His friends know to keep an ear out for this phrase, and are quick to distract him before something gets broken, or someone gets hurt. An incredibly old creature in the body of a young man, Russel is always looking for new ways to keep himself entertained, and is known for being quite the prankster. He doesn't mean any harm; he just wants to have some fun, after all! He enjoys amusement parks, freerunning, and bicycle stunts, among other things.
Sage DateLifemated to Millie's Sevella
Relevant Characters: Cye (Best Friend), Rowen (Best Friend), Cortez (Son), Chessa (Daughter)
A former demon hunter, Sage currently works as a bartender. He's perfect for the job - he's a great listener, and he gives out good advice. Out of the Ronins, he's the most level-headed and responsible, often mediating arguments between his friends or customers. One of his few faults is that he tends to treat Rowen and Cye as children at times, not that they don't ask for it. Sage can also seem quite severe at times, and has trouble cutting loose and just having fun. He has a minor healing ability, which he uses discreetly when needed, and can summon light to illuminate even the darkest of places.

Sam WinchesterLifemate Status: Open

Dean's younger brother, Sam once had hopes of living a normal life apart from his monster-hunting family. All that changed when a demon killed his girlfriend. He partnered with his brother, and has been hunting ever since. He's since lost his father to the same demon, and discovered that the demon's blood runs through his veins. This realization has caused him no end of grief and uncertainty. Does having demon blood in him mean he is evil? Is he fated to lose his humanity over time? Dean is a very kind-hearted person, and some of the things he and his brother have to see and do hits him hard. But he can't stop hunting, not when innocent people might be in danger. Despite his normal good nature, he does have quite a temper at times, and is very motivated by revenge or threats on people he cares about.
Templeton "Faceman" PeckLifemate Status: Open (although his lifemate might still have to put up with some womanizing)
Relevant Characters: H. M. Murdock (Best Friend)
The con-man of the A-team, Face is responsible for gathering any supplies the team might need. Depending on the mission, the items could range from a dozen pillows and a gallon of paint to a small airplane. It's a good thing he's so good at his job! He's very much a ladies man, and really knows how to show a woman a good time. He hates fighting, since it usually ends up ruining his suit, but he can throw a good punch if the situation calls for it.
