It was a sunny day at the Chateau of the Mist. The birds were signing, the bees were humming and everything was peaceful. Except, of course, for the two little Felloxes, both six years old, who had met by chance on the meadow near the lake. Laksimi was running around with the duck she was raising, Rosemary, looking for snails for her to eat while Lelouch was taking one of his bunnies, Mrs. Cuddles, out to get some fresh grass. Only that then, Rosemary had approached Mrs. Cuddles and scared her a bit, which had caused Lelouch to complain to Laksimi and Laksimi to yell back.
"Duckies are clearly best! They swim and walk and dive and fly! And they have funny orange feet and funny butts! And then are all quak-quak-quak and swim-swim-swim! They are the best animals ever! And Rosemary is so cute! She deserves her snails and if your bunny is in the way, it has to move!" The little Fellox proudly looked at the other child. "I am a duckie-expert and responsible for duckies! You don't even have a job!"
"I am a prince! And bunnies are clearly better than duckies! They are cute and fluffy and their noses move up and down and up and down! And they have fluffy stomachs and long ears and they groom and cuddle with each other and are all soft and adorable! And you can pet them! Duckies are mean birds who only run away!" With all his royal authority, Lelouch faced Laksimi.
"Oh yes? Rosemary doesn't! Why don't we have a battle to see which animal is better, huh? I am a half-goddess! I obviously know best!" Laksimi went a few steps back. "Do you accept the challenge?!"
"I do! It's a duel!" Lelouch gently moved Mrs. Cuddles over a bit, too. "I will not lose! For all the bunnies in all kingdoms! The fluffiness will win!"
And so, it was a duel.
