They were home. Well, close to home. Fly paper landed and the men got off the birds back. She shifted back into her human form as spoke with them, "I thought there were three of you. What happened?" She questioned. The masks and some coats were removed.
Night crawler looked totally out of as if completely zoned out like a coma patient would look like with open eyes. Still he replied, "Well there is one less of us and one less hostage. He got his cut. Take two bags and please go." It was short and sweet but Fly paper wasn't stupid. She knew he didn't want to speak about it and in this business you don't prod. She grabbed two bags and walked out of the forest to where her car was parked.
"Henry, you need to tell me what happened." Cyber fox stated to the man with the Night crawler alias. Henry looked back at his old friend. "He killed her..." He said drifting the sentence at the end, "Jensen, he killed someone. Everything was perfect. The plan was solid..." Henry was now beside himself. "Hey, you can't blame yourself. You didn't do it. You didn't want him too. This isn't your fault." Jensen tried to console. "Isn't it? I picked the team. I made the plan. If I hadn't have used him..."
Jensen didn't know what to say.
"We are criminals. Cold heated criminals." Henry kicked one of the money bags furious with himself.
"Life sucks, you make what you can of it. Unfortunately you didn't get a good hand. You never have. I'm sorry that this happened but we can't do anything about it now." Jensen stated truthfully. Silence covered the area as Henry slumped down against a tree.
