Obi’s head was far too full of dreams for his own good. He had been the mastermind behind this entire plan and now the moment of truth was upon them. Sizing up his opponents he paid no mind to his mate at his side. Hell hath no fury like a Nakira scorned. It seemed he had been thinking about things a little too long, because in the blink of an eye he could see things springing up from the ground to try and ensnare his partner. Resolve found, Obi took focus on Nakira’s attacker. He shouldn’t take it so personally, really, but how could he not? Charging towards the other male, keeping his teeth to himself as he reminded himself that this was just one big test and not to the death. Lowering himself to the ground before giving one hard push up, he hoped to knock Sam out of the way with a shoulder hit to the chest.

Nakira, meanwhile, was not finding this as thrilling as she had hoped. None of Obi’s ideas were ever really good ones, but it was a little too late to back out now. They were staring down their opposition and…things were popping out of the ground around her feet? Trying to dance around the roots, Nakira didn’t have much time to think about what move was best or which target was optimal. She could hear Obi’s paws thundering towards someone and she aimed the opposite direction, towards the other opponent she had seen and could only hope was still there. Her wingblades sparked and sizzled as electric currents ran the length of them. With a loud bark she sent them flying towards the Likuta and returned her focus onto the strange plant life grabbing at her paws.
