Reyson wasn't necessarily an aggressive man. He was a formidable opponent in battle, but he did not like fighting. As an ambassador, his job was to keep the peace between nations and avoid conflict as much as possible. But when the young Lucain, Veneziano, asked him to join this tournament, he found he could not refuse. If a citizen asked for his help as nicely as possible, he would comply to the best of his ability.
So Reyson and Ven stepped into the arena, both in their animal forms. Like good tacticians, they had discussed some strategies beforehand and hoped to coordinate their attacks well. The two sized up their opponents, gave each other a look, and leaped into battle.
Veneziano was the swifter of the two, not being a bulk dragon like Reyson. He ran at the Kuhna,
Saryn, with extended claws, hoping to land a good blow. Really, he preferred swords, but Reyson had convinced him that his human form would do little good in this tournament. Meanwhile,
Reyson was following him, ready to sweep in for a second attack on
Saryn after Ven's attempt.
(Both: Regular attack @ Saryn.)
