[ My ponies will be the following: Deep Quill, Sunny Spring, Tomato Field, Tomato Cherry, Wireboard, Vine Stalk and Sepia Note. They will appear and be played as necessary. ]
Nothing was too unusual for Deep Quill that particular day. A Saturday, which had started slowly for him. With his parents gone to Cloudsdale for the weekend, the black pegasus had the entire house to himself for the weekend. Sadly, most of it would be dedicated to doing his homework, but maybe he would get some time to himself afterwards.
He was lying down in bed lazily when he heard knocking on the door. Flicking his ear, the pegasus opened an eye, but he thought against getting up and answering; it probably wasn't important. That turned out to be a mistake when the knocking got louder and faster on the door. Grumbling, the pegasus wiggled himself out of his bed and made his way towards the door, noticing just how strangely colder it suddenly was today compared to yesterday.
With the door knocking ever loudly, Deep Quill opened the door forcefully. "What in the hay do you—" he started angrily, when he stopped mid-sentence to see what was outside his house: a blizzard blowing in full force... in the middle of a warm, gentle season.
"Deep Quill!" snapped the female earth pony standing in front of his door. "What are ye even doin'?! Were you still sleepin' in dis weather?"
The pegasus shook his head and blinked as he noticed one of his pony friends, Tomato Field, standing in front of him, together with her little sister, Tomato Cherry. The two stood out against the white blurry background of the blizzard that was raging outside. "I-I don't—"
"Lemme in, Quill! C'mon Cherry!" the red earth pony forced, grabbing her little shivering filly-sister by her scarf and pulling the two of them inside the pegasus's house.
Quickly moving out of the way, Deep Quill just frowned and raised an eyebrow as he closed the door quickly. "Uh, sure... make yourselves at home?" he asked a little indignantly, confused as to what was happening.
"Sorry Quill, but it's freezin' outta here! This ain't no weather for summer either! 'N we gotta do somethin', or else we're gonna lose our crops back at the farm!"
"Just, wait," the pegasus asked as he turned back to face the earth pony. "Why is it even snowing? And a blizzard, even?"
"How in the bloody hay d'ya want me to know?" the farmer answered angrily, getting antsy that they were wasting so much time. "Dis why Ah'm so freaked out here! Ya gotta help us figure dis out!"
Warmed a little, Field's little sister craned her neck forward towards the black pegasus as she also pleaded for his help. "Please, Deep Quill? Mah sister's gonna lose all her 'ard work if we don't do nothing to stop dis here blizzard."
Sighing, Deep Quill shook his head. "You won't even take no for an answer," he grumbled a little, although the stakes were high with Field losing her entire hard work for the season. "I'll grab my winter clothes and we look for the source of it, I guess."
"Yer a pegasus, dis why Ah thought ya'd know to begin with!"
"I don't work for Cloudsdale, I'd like to remind you," the pegasus called out from upstairs as he shuffled for his scarf and other winter accessories. They had no other choice but to go out in this blizzard to find out what was causing it.
