Yeah, I guess I'm just disappointed. For me, the Easter Event in prior years was THE event, far better than Christmas and Halloween and every sale combined. Why? Because it fixed the main problem I have with Evelon: That everyone replies to RPs so goddamn slowly.
I'm a very fast RPer and I really only stay interested in a storyline if there are lots of replies every day. Evelon is kinda the opposite of this, sadly. There are events which are good - Tourneys or like now that one Scav Hunt task - because they give a deadline. Breeding rooms, too. However, the deadline in the Easter RP has never had a postcount as well, which the other events always had. Only the time, which was pretty tight and so, lots and lots of posts were made. I think Millie and I managed 120 or more in five days once and that is exactly what I loved so much. These RPs are easily the ones I like the most of all I've done here. Sadly, it is in the nature of most humans to just stop things once the deadline is reached and with writing, once they slow, they lose interest quickly. As such, I was very dismayed to learn that the Easter Event has just been changed to "another breeding room". 30 posts are not enough for a full storyline and while you are lucky to have gotten a partner who continued your RP with you, that's sadly rare on Evelon. =(
But then again, that's mostly me, after all. Everyone else seems fine with waiting for RP replies forever, so I guess it's really just me who is strange and just really sad that the event that I enjoyed the most got nerfed in such a way. Probably a way that's better for the main population of Evelon, though. But yeah. RE2 asked why the participation was low and I could only speak about myself, so here you go, that's my reason.
