Ester was surprised and relieved to find out she wasn’t the only one to be newly out of the vaults. She didn’t want to be the only one ignorant to the workings of Evelon, but she could guess that she knew the least about humans out of the bunch though it was hard to say. The seraphim were hard for ester to read. She didn’t have a clue what they must be feeling. When they had spoken though they all sounded sort of reserved and from their postures ester figured they were all fairly untrusting of each other or at least a little shy around others.
A shudder passed through Ester at the news of souls being stolen, allegedly at least. There could be a plethora of reasons behind the missing souls but the one that first came to her mind was that they had been stolen. Perturbed by this she could understand completely why the gods would want them to find out what was going on. When it was suggested that the humans might have just never had souls ester was confused, “Is there a way for humans to give their souls away?” she asked, knowing it was probably a dumb question but she was not well versed in human souls and was unsure if it was even possible for one to have their soul taken away.
