With temperatures rising over 143°C (289.40°F) in most areas, the only relief is during the nights when it is much cooler. All travelers are advised to keep to the local towns on the desert's outskirts and avoid traveling too far from civilization. (+3 Endurance, +2 Defense)

I heard the creature running after me. "It's fine and the opposite way we walked. I don't know which way I'll go, I haven't decided." I mused. "Sorry, for seeming depreciating, I'm just tired." I stopped, hoping that I didn't seem heartless. I was just recovering from the snake bite, which healed fairly quickly. It still did just sting a bit though. At least it was a bearable pain, where I didn't have to limp.

"The opposite way we are currently heading?" I stopped dead. "Why are you walking this way then? Why don't we go back and get out of here? To to the city, or a forest or something...?" Why was this creature not going back? Sure life can suck sometimes, but going farther into a desert where you will only die is even worse!
"Okay seriously, what's your deal? Why are you here?"

I laughed. "Who cares if I am here? Maybe I want to have an adventure." I replied. "Thats just what I intend to get, its not my first time being here. It's just harder to find the way out." I explained. "Meh whatever." I said, going the direction I came from, not in the mood for an adventure anymore. Since I had the snake bite I regretted coming here again.

"You are definitely a strange one, Koray..." I mentioned following her back in the other direction. Hopefully it would get us out of here. Hell, if she stayed around me long enough, she'd begin to love life in the shire more than wanting to be going on an adventure!

About an hour into the walk I felt a sudden pain on my back leg. "What the-?" I turned around to find one of the poisonous snakes latched onto my hind left leg. "Damn." I mentioned under my breath as if a venomous snake bite was no big deal. Oh did I mention how there were no special anti-venom bushes nearby anymore? Oh well.
I grabbed hold of the snake and tossed it away, before casually continuing to walk ahead.

I chuckled, this creature was funny. I was strange? "Perhaps I am strange, my life growing up is a bit unusual." I said serious and intense. "Damn is right. Those snakes seem to be everywhere in the desert. Next time eat lots of onions before traveling in the desert." I noted, making myself wish that I was smarter and ate them myself. "So where about's did you crash?" I asked curiously, wondering if it would be as bad as I thought. I was good with technology, perhaps it was something I could fix, get us the eff out of here.

"Not sure anymore. Lost track a while ago." I mentioned back to the creature half distracted by my own thoughts... 'that snake was the same kind, right? It was red black and orange... or was it yellow... shit.'
I decided to think nothing more of it and continue ahead.

The next few miles consisted of small talk and any direct questions I just tried to dodge or I was as vague as possible. I didn't like people knowing too much about me, especially now...

"Ahh!" I howled as I fell to the ground, unwillingly shifting into my human form. "Damn it! It was the wrong fucking snake..." I mentioned to myself before I passed out.

I rolled my eyes ate the passed out creature. He had passed out into his human form it looked like. With ease I pulled him on my back, I was strong. I wasn't in human form myself yet, but my current form was just as strong. I walked until I found us at a nice waterfall. I have finally found us at the forest where we seeked to be. Putting the human down on a pile of leaves I have put together slowly not to wake him. I drank some water and laid down, sleeping way on the otherside where he wasn't.

"Agrhh!" I groaned as I came too. The venomous pain shot up through my leg. I decided to ignore the pain long enough to figure out what happened. I took a look around... "How did we get here?" I moaned. "Where is here?" I added. Koray was a distance away but I knew she heard.
