Hey again guys~
Well, I guess, first, Merry Christmas. xD Lol. To me the 25th isn't much of anything at all, whoops. For the longest time I thought December 24th was Christmas, because my family has always opened gifts on that day.
Either way, I'm here again to give some information, since my official surgery is tomorrow.
The story from last week is pretty much all it was. xD Technician told me I couldn't have the surgery, I started crying, she felt major legit bad, we talked for like 45-60 minutes about random things, surgery and non. She made me feel 110% better by the time we were done, we hugged before I left, and she was one of the most beautiful people I've met in my life.
Anyway, like I said, I'm getting my surgery done tomorrow by one of the best they have, who also happens to be one of the owners. I also got a cute little $200 discount on the price, which now totals at $3,700. Paid out of my pocket of course. Lol.
Anyway, that said. It is tomorrow at the same time as Saturday, meaning at 10:45AM. I'm dragging my mom with me this time, because I pretty much know everything that happens before the surgery, so it won't take much time at all. My values can't have changed within 6 days, and then I asked the questions that worried me the most on Saturday before I left. I have my prescription drops, and regular eyedrops, so I'm ready to go.
I also got a sheet of information for the day of the surgery. Doctor's orders for the first 24 hours are to avoid screens, whether TV, computer, or phone, as the eyes will already be dry, tired, burning and just all around uncomfortable, and those things just tire your eyes all the more. They say many people go back home right away and then sleep off the bulk of it, putting eyedrops to keep the eyes hydrated, etc. We'll see how it goes, I'm honestly pretty resilient when it comes to dry eyes. xD And screens. My life is in front of them... whoops.
Anyway, of course, I'll do my best to come on long enough to at least if everything's gone okay. I don't want you guys to think I went blind or that I lost vision or whatever. So even if just to type 'Surgery went ok' I will be coming on. Knowing me I won't be able to stay away. |8 Whoops.
But hey it's okay. I'll just. Put the laptop faaaaaaaaaaaaar away and then stretch my arms to type. c,: Technically I should be completely functional by the time the surgery is over! Meaning I should have that sweet 20/20 vision as soon as it's over, technically speaking.
If all goes well, I should be back Saturday or Sunday. But again, I'll see how my eyes can handle the screens. Worst case scenario I'll wear my prescribed sunglasses for the screens to block the light a bit.
Again, sorry to those I owe PMs to, and RP replies, and like, everything else. ; ___ ; Know that I read all my PMs and if I don't reply it's either because I'm lazy (lol) or because I am legit busy. Yesterday was both, as a I worked on gifts all day, then sent them out, typed long PMs, and then I had to wrap RL gifts and THEN unwrap those RL gifts with family... Lotsa things. Also my Pen hasn't been drafted yet either whoops.
But yeah I've read all my PMs, know that if I haven't answered you, I might not be able to do it today either because... Christmas day. I'm going to my aunt's place tonight, and they don't have Wi-Fi. Might bring the laptop just to work out Pen but even then. I honestly have no idea. I'll have my phone but yeah.
Anyway, there you go. Might not be on at all Friday, that's yet to be seen. I'm addicted though I'll probably pop up just to see if my RPs got replies, etc. hahah.
But there you go. Real deal is tomorrow, I will keep you all updated via my Evelon-is-not-actually-Twitter posts whenever possible while I'm there. Everything will go just peachy, confident it will.
