The backdrop of the prestigious Idalani Falls was hard to turn down--which is why Teuta had chosen the new, upscale restaurant in the first place. It was more than that, a resort some might call it, with rooms available and an itinerary of things to do and places to see complete with fully guided tour times. It was hardly her normal haunt by any means with its more rustic appeal and quiet, romantic atmosphere. But then again, Teuta didn't often find herself on many dates. Not...that she currently found herself on one either.
Her crimson eyes trailed down to the silver and gem inlay watch hanging delicately on her wrist once more. Half an hour...the man was half an hour late without so much as a text to explain himself. She had clearly given him too much credit as she had done with the few she'd allowed close to her before him. Ah, well, the expensive bottle of wine had been ordered and she was in a semi-private room with a gorgeous view of the falls. She even had a room for a few days (for if things went well...or some much needed 'me time' if things did not) so there was no sense in letting a drop go to waste. She'd taken a leave from her job for this trip and this meeting after all.
She reached out a slender arm and took the bottle in her hand to turn it over. Her blue and orange tinted hair was pulled back into a loose bun with a few expertly teased bangs framing her face. The gown was a silken and flowing maxi style dress with a high-waisted belt and a shawl that hung around her neck and over her shoulders. It was a color which some might refer to as 'creamsicle orange' with some cerulean blue designs placed here and there to add texture and flair. Her shoes--hardly up for any tours tonight--were thinly spiked stilettos in a royal shade of blue as well. She looked dressed to impress for whomever it was who had decided not to show on the high-class lady.
Ah well, might as well try not to be too brooding over yet another failed attempt at love.
