The morning was an otherwise silent one. The mountains stood proud and unshakable, and silent as the sun rose higher into the sky.
From a roost within the mountains, two female Paragon stirred from their slumber. One was much smaller than the other--no more than seven feet from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail--while the other was easily twenty-four feet from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail. The smaller female ruffled her feathered wings slightly, while the larger female stretched in a rather feline-like manner, first stretching out her front legs, and then, her back legs.
"We need more nest material, sister," the smaller Paragon said.
"While the amount we've been using is more than enough for me, it is hardly sufficient for you."
