Question! Will we be able to "devolve" the special Ipinoxes in the marketplace, or do you guys not have the PSDs of their growing forms to work with?

We doooo actually have the PSDs (Baal gave us all the stages, even the egg!), but in the interest in keeping the clickable version special in their own right we're keeping the other stages of the Ipinox as clickable only. You can think of it as Ipinox adopted the way we normally adopt pets are found fully grown, while the clickables are eggs that you can find/purchase and raise with love and care (aka clicks). That doesn't mean we won't give them love if we can! This is currently just a maybe thing, but Kreepy is going to check in to how the Ipinox's clickable code works (some of our old code is a little clunky) and depending on how feasible it turns out to be there could be new colorations of the clickable version of the Ipinox in the future.


Also, for those wondering about custom Ipinox, they aren't yet available but will be in the future! Give us a few days and you'll hear about being able to order them

A stange, new shop that looks suspiciously similar to Seasonal Specialties has popped up over night! They say that their doors will only be open for a very limited time, but if you wander on over to the Hidden Holiday Hoard you'll be able to get your hands on seasonal pets from previous years! Although, at a somewhat inflated price. Still, what's a few extra KS to finally get your hands on that special seasonal pet that's been eluding you?

As Seasonal Specialties just closed down it's doors for Christmas, only retro Christmas pets are available at this time.

Hey guys, this is an update concerning the Tiger Scintilla. After some deliberation, we have decided that if you want to get changes to a Kuhna that has an animation (ex. Elders), it will unfortunately no longer have the animation after the change. This is because animations are extremely difficult to replicate, and we'd rather have you get your changes on time than have you wait forever. If you currently have a pending order involving an animated Kuhna, we'll be messaging you asking if you'd like the order to be done still. If yes, we'll fulfill the order without an animation. If not, we'll grant you a full refund.

On a happier note, I'm pleased to announce that the Merkundra (but not yet the Merkuhna) now has all available expressions, and Merkundra tails can now be applied to any base! We hope you enjoy these new customizations : )

I thought the animated Elder Kuhndra was already done, though? I remember seeing a sample version of it.

The basic version of animated Kuhnas/Lakundras will still be animated. It's only if you get a change made, such as switching an Elder Kuhna to having Bat wings, that they will no longer be animated. We have managed a few in the past (particularly I know I've done at least one Preitor order), but they're hard and time consuming because we have to reanimate them each time and have to try to get the animation as close to the original as possible.

If you're doing something like a very simple switch between Gen pose to Lakundra or to Original pose, you'll keep the animation. It's just when you want any changes. We reuse the same url over and over for just switching between bases, so if you're just wanting a plain Preitor Kuhna switch from Gen to Original or Lakundra, it'll keep the animation. If you want that Preitor to also have an eye color change, wing change, ect though, it'll be frozen.

I know the new is a bit sad, but as the only one besides Baal (who is the only one that could make the Elder animation) that's done the Kuhna animations in the past I can say... they're a beast and take a lot of work.

^ As someone who used to do art on the team also, I never could get my PS to cooperate for animations. Mine never looked as clear and quite honestly I never bothered to try to learn how to animate Evelon pets properly. :'|

I definitely get some people being upset/sad over the news, but from a technically standpoint, I do agree it's understandable. Personally I almost like my Kuhnas without animations, but those few animated ones are special and unique. uwu But aye, animation.

As someone who also animated pets before. It is not really possible to animate a pet and not have it look pixely. It wont save as a PNG which is the standard file type for Evelon. Will only save as GIF. I believe Baal had to use a special program to make the Lakundra and Kuhna work and be clean.

Yes editing animations is difficult. You can have up to 100 frames or more to work with that you have to test and tweak individually. It can be fun but a lot of work.

Today, we are welcoming a totally brand new shop into the marketplace! And detailing some changes made to other existing shops, so make sure you read through everything so you don't miss out on important information and rule changes!

Adoption Agency

The brand new shop that has opened up in the marketplace! As one might have guessed based on the name, it is a place where users can adopt pets, for a small KS fee, of course. Specifically, breedable pets may be adopted here! This includes Kuhnas, Lucain, Paragon, Soveris and Diosol!

And, who knows, some of them might be a little fancy. Some pets may appear that have alterations, add ons or other changes, and they may be adopted at no extra cost.

Additionally, Ancient Kuhnas can also be purchased here, using GT! And they are wonderfully unlimited. Buy as many as you want. Go crazy!

But, wait, where do those adoptable pets come from...?

Salvis's Salvage Saloon

Breedable pets, including Kuhnas, Lucain, Paragon, Soveris and Diosol, may now be salvaged!

BUT! Instead of just vanishing off the face of Evelon forever, as is what occurs with regular pets, Salvis sends those pets on over to the new Adoption Agency so that they may have the chance to find a brand new home. Some of the pets may end up being fancied up, too, with mini mark additions, Kuhna alterations, maybe even add ons, if our artists are feeling up to it.

For this month, September, ONLY users may salvage up to FOUR (4) breedable pets, in addition to three (3) regular pets, as is per the norm. Come October and thereafter, users may only salvage ONE (1) breedable pet per month, and it is counted toward the limit of only salvaging three (3) pets per month.

So, if you have some old breedable pets just sitting around that you don't know what to do with or can't seem to trade away, or just happen to need some quick, extra KS, dust those critters off and send them on over! We'll help them out and find them the love they need.

The Equal Pet Exchange

With the Adoption Agency now covering the rehoming of breedable pets, the Equal Pet Exchange will be phasing out their breedable pet stock, and will only deal in regular pets from then on. This month, September, is the transition time. During this time, users  may use up their breedable points that they have collected as they see fit. Remember, exchanges are made on a first come, first serve basis, so if there is anything you are eyeing in the Exchange, it's best to hurry.

Breedable pets remaining in the Exchange come October will all be transferred over to the Adoption Agency, and may then be adopted there for their individual KS fees.

Users that have remaining points for breedable species come October, will be awarded a voucher that will cover adoption fees in the Adoption Agency. 1 Point = 1 voucher. Although, any Kuhna points will only net vouchers for Kuhna adoptions, while Lucain, Paragon, Soveris and Diosol Points will net a voucher that will allow the user to adopt any available pet.
