Cass felt incredibly accomplished, even if they hadn’t found exactly who they were looking for. They had found someone, two someone’s, and it would be more than enough to try and find places for them above ground.
She also felt the professor would be pleased with their map, it was an almost perfect recreation of the cave, and she’d taken a lot of notes other than just the size and shape of the rocks. Hesperos seemed pleased too, doubly so ever since they came across the girl. That would be a mystery needing solving, she hopes it was the next task their God gave them, instead of continuing their wild goose-chase for things that might not exist.
