The same figure came into the shop, scanning the room with his honey-gold eyes.  His mohawk was framed with shaved lines, but some time had come since he had shaved those lines, and hair was starting to grow back in.  He approached the counter and placed a form on it.

"...they're at it again," he said bluntly.  "I'll try to keep up with them..."

It had been a while since Lyra had last come to visit this place. Things had gotten busier for everyone, and she was no exception. Actually, it was more like she was the epitome of it. They were really getting their money's worth out of her after having gone to the trouble of signing her on... She sighed.

But it wasn't all bad, she supposed. She'd managed to help people, and it was nice to have compatriots. Some of them might even qualify as friends by now.

"Hey, what's good?" she said, flashing a grin at the shopkeeper. "I've got this to turn in..."

The twins made their way to the main desk of the saloon. They had tried to shove this job on Isabel, but the girl refused on the count that she had far too many tasks on her to-do list. The task was also out of the jurisdiction of most of the others, save one or two of the kids, who were just too young for a consistent job anyway. The twins were forced to take it on themselves.
“Hello,” greeted one.
“We have a form for you, here,” followed the other.
“It is our first time, if we’ve made a mistake, please let us know,” finished the first. The second twin slid forward a piece of paper.

It was another usual day for Skylar that involved dealing with some jobs that Elizabeth asked her to get done. For this particular trip, she had made her way to the saloon to deliver some very important information that apparently had something to do with that missing chick that they'd heard about. And they may have a pretty good idea of where it could be.

"Hey, I think we've got a lead for you!" She called out to whoever was available to take the piece of paper from her.

There were a bunch of strange shops in the city that Akira had never seen before. Sometimes, when he had some time on his hands, he would just wander into one and have a look around. There was no telling what you might find, and some of his discoveries had been surprisingly helpful in light of recent developments.

This place seemed to be posting odd jobs, and he had taken one up to give it a try. There was no telling if he would come back, but he was curious about how this one would turn out, at least.

Weird. She didn't usually take this sort of work, if she could be bothered working at all but... if the boss requested it, the boss requested it. "It's not a big deal man, plus you know how this goes, if we succeed with the... other stuff, he'll be replaced with yours truly soon enough anyway." Korinne spoke into the phone, calm and measured. She was confident this plan would work out. And even if it didn't, she always got her way. Always.
"Look, just get the boys, get the guns. Be in position when I get back, I just need to... I dunno, look for some lady's goddamn chicken. Shouldn't be too hard."

"They've done it!" The girl that had come in not too long before announced, as she stepped into the saloon once more, a small smile lighting up her features.

"My friends have gone and found what you're looking for. Or, rather, what that lady outside is looking for. I've heard that there will be some kind of compensation, yes?" Not that they were all too concerned with it; her friends had gone out simply because of their kindness. But if there was a prize, there was no harm in collecting it, too.

Once more, the agent who had skulked into the Saloon.  He approached the counter, looked at the person, and offered a sigh, shrugging.

"They think they're onto another one," he said bluntly, shaking his head.  "Told me to pass on the information.  So... here it is," he said, shrugging as he offered a sigh.  "Wish they'd find someone else to run their errands..."

Humph. Showing her face here might be a little bit... risque. After all, despite this place being set up to request the capture of creatures, it was done for righteous reasons. Her business of poaching the said animals was seen as a direct opposite and contrast to the purpose of this establishment.

She hoped the hood would disguise her enough so that nobody would recognize her here. She simply needed to submit this to the owner, so that the Chimerantula could be made aware. If only she could have gotten in touch with the Chimerantula alone... Ah, but she couldn't change that, now could she?

"Hello," she greeted, and she gave what the other party needed. "Please take care of this, won't you?" she asked, and without giving them a chance to reply, she headed out. The less time she remained here, the better.

Indigo looked pretty pleased with herself as she strolled into the Saloon. She was happy with the events of the day and was eager to make a report. Her hacked together team did very well. Though she did wonder how her usual teammates fared without her. She hoped they did well, too, but she really wanted her new team to have done better. She always felt like she had to 'win' things.

"Hey, I'm here to make a report," she said. "This is all the stuff I've found." She grinned and looked expectant, as though she was going to be praised for her effort. When it was clear that wasn't going to happen, she just left without another word.

"Well, we didn't catch the little guy," Yuu explained when they'd reached the lady farmer's front door, "but we did see him. He's alive and well... and kind of a punk. Totally swiped our bait and ran." Yuu grinned and nudged Mika's arm, and the vampire managed a small smile as well.

"If you give us another steak," Mika began, wishing the woman wouldn't flinch at the sight of his fangs, but it couldn't be helped. "We can probably find him again, and catch him this time. We're pretty up to the task." When the woman's face relaxed into a hopeful smile, Mika found himself feeling something quite different than the usual disgust he felt for the humans that his clawing, hissing brain convinced him were just using Yuu. He felt a strange sense of happiness that he couldn't quite explain. He'd never once regretted running off with Yuu so they could live together in peace without the war on their backs--but now, he could even call himself happy to be there with other people, too.

A Kuni probably wasn't what anyone was really expecting to see come through that door, but there it was. Its big bright yellow eyes glittered enthusiastically as it defied gravity all throughout making its way to deliver an envelope clamped firmly - but gently as to not poke holes - between its tiny teeth.

With the fanciest twirl in the air it could pull off, it dropped the envelope right down onto the counter. Making a happy chirping noise, the little blue creature then floated on back out of the building. It's job now finished.

It was a little hard to tell for sure from this far up in the sky, but this seemed like the right place based on what description she had been given.

When she had flown down to land on the ground, the building she had found herself standing in front of did indeed look like a saloon of sorts. Which made her confident that she had found it! "Delivery for a Mr. Rick!" She announced as she stepped into the saloon. Her claws making noticeable tapping sounds as she made her way to this presumed 'Rick' person and pulled something out of one of the leather bags slung over her shoulder. "This letter is for you!"

How rich that they got to enjoy that beautiful golden festival! He himself had little knowledge of the holiday or why the humans celebrated it, but he could appreciate their faith and enthusiasm. He wasn't really a God in the literal sense of the term, but he wondered if humans would come to worship him as well, one day? Dreaming had never hurt anyone, had it?

"Greetings," he said as he approached the owner of the Saloon. "We've just landed in Aldrect to enjoy this wonderful golden festival that's happening," he explained as he showed proof of his stay in a fancy hotel in Aldrect. "Of course, my friend is... much more sour than I am about it, but don't worry. I'll try to soften him up to the idea before it's all over."

Calla would have loved to stay for the costume contest, really she would, but she realized she had been forgetting to run a little errand for a while now. She sneaked away from the crowd and found her way to the Lone Saloon to drop off some things. She made her way there just in time (did they ever actually close?) and placed her hand on the counter.

"Oh, you won't believe what I found!" she said in a surprisingly cheery tone. She moved her hand only to leave a small smear of blood on the counter. "Oh, sorry about that," she said, hastily wiping it away with her sleeve.
