It was a beautiful day in Iki Town. The sky was clear and blue, the ocean breeze was blowing gently, and the great sun was casting its warmth all over the land. Outside, the townspeople went about their daily business, chatting, dancing, and playing in the comfortable weather. Pokemon, too, were running around and enjoying the fresh morning.

One young boy, blonde-haired and blue-eyed, was pacing back and forth in front of his house. Every so often he'd stop to look up into the sky, as if waiting for something to pass by at any moment. Whenever he saw nothing, he sighed, lowered his head, and resumed his repetitious walk. Some of the other children in the town gave him curious glances as they passed by.

[Thunder]

Suddenly, a Pokemon's roar sounded out overhead. The boy jumped in surprise and returned his gaze to the sky, searching for the source of the sound. Within seconds, he saw it--the unmistakable silhouette of a certain Charizard. His mouth cracked open into a wide grin and he jumped up and down, waving his hands at the Pokemon.

"Keira! Charizard! Over here!" he cried.

After making one turn in the sky, Charizard started to descend, aiming for the boy's location. As the Pokemon drew closer, two things became clear. First, the Charizard was a highly unusual color, with pale gray all over its body. Second, there was someone riding on its back, a young lady in a sporty red jacket and long, green hair.

The boy backed up to make room for Charizard. The Pokemon angled its body and beat its wings steadily to bring itself and its rider down the ground gently. Once they landed, Keira hopped off Charizard's back and ran up to the boy. The boy ran to meet her, and they met in a big, tight hug.

"Landon!" Keira laughed, rubbing the boy's head. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too, big sis!" Landon squeaked. "And Charizard, as well!" He smiled at the dragon-like creature, which flapped its wings and roared happily in reply.
