Beware the WerebettaZade | Zander
These two are basically carbon copies of one another, which must be why they can stand to live near each other without fighting. They pair up and hunt as a team and they accomplish everything as a team. No one is quite certain if they are actually brothers or if they just found each other when they were young. Currently they work the northern shores of the sea and deal in gossip. They are constantly listening to the ships that pass through their territory and at the docks. Not a real friendly duo, but they will do anything for something that shines.
Critter
There is something wrong with Critter. He's overly friendly, overly creepy and a big, big over-sharer. He has buttons that you don't want to push and everyone unanimously hates being around him. It's best to visit him with at least two others around so he doesn't try anything fishy.
Critter hangs out in rivers and inlets as the open sea just isn't his style (that or he's too weak to defend his territory from other bettas in the waters). Like the others in his ring, he deals in information and he's got lots of it. Critter is manipulative and tends to trick his fellow werebettas into doing what he wants them to. They all think of him too weak to be a threat so he's generally allowed to go where he likes (as long as he doesn't stick around).

Having fought his battles, this guy is the oldest and most laid back of the werebetta clan. If he wasn't bound to water, he's the type you would find smoking a pipe in his chair by the fire, scaring his grandkids with tales of fighting and the scars he has to prove it. He's respected and even though old, a very tough fighter.

Irv
Irv has deemed himself the champion. He's beautiful, he's strong, he does well with ladies. He loves himself like he loves his territory-- fiercely. The little spirit that's been soul bonded to him is just as enraptured. He essentially carries around his own cheerleader. He's pretty daft and will spend hours looking in the mirror but he holds the entrance to the seas the clan claims. Irv is the first guy you've got to get through, so you better be good at flattery.
