Dusk smiled. She could read sign language and lips because Jaden was deaf, but couldn't understand the beak language of Alpine's. "Don't worry. I trust you. I'm happy you didn't lie. If you had, then I might not trust you. You'd be surprised how many people won't care so much about what you've done, and more on what you do now. I'd be careful signing when Sunrise and Cutter are looking, they know how to read it too." she signed, checking that Sunrise and Cutter weren't looking first, and signed fast enough that Ron couldn't understand. He was a prize from someone else, and was still learning.
Sunrise turned her head when Dusk didn't reply. Then she saw her signing the words, "it too." She took no notice to it, and spoke up. "I'll just follow you to your cave." she said, and Cutter flew off her head to circle above them.
Dusk smiled again. "You're welcome by the way. Just be careful, s you don't hurt yourself again."

"Actually you would be surprised about how many people do care about a persons past. " replied Charlie not surprised that her sign language could be read.  At least they couldn't read Alpine's beak language yet.  It was actually morse code that Alpine was clicking.  Starting to walk Charlie pointed in the Northwest direction "Our temp home is in this direction and don't worry about us being injuried we won't being trying that training method for a long while"

"They'll be fine," Mina whispered.

"Yeah, c'mon. Let's go," Lily said, turning and walking away. Who knows. Maybe they'll meet again someday...

Toxyc and Sunny watched the group for a while, then they finally went away, feeling no longer like they where needed. "ah well" said toxyc, peering at the sky, as if he thought something might fall of it.
"what" asked sunny, still a little angry at her brother. "I...I just wish i could fly" he said with a dreamy voice. "hah yeah...lets go home,freak" sunny growled, but with a warm smile on her face. and with that, the two raptors disappeared into the grasslands...

Dusk smiled. Then she looked around as the others left. She looked down at the still grumbling Ron. "We can go now." she said. She knew that Cutter would know to tell Sunrise to go home after they were done. Then she patted Ron's head and started to walk away. He stared at her. Then she wheeled around. "Come and get me!" she shouted and started to run, only to stop and laugh when she realized than Ron wasn't moving. She picked up a stone, pulled her arm as far back as she could and threw it. It hit Ron on the wing. He fluffed up, irritated, and opened his wings. Dusk laughed and started running again, obviously not caring if she made Ron mad.

Sunrise followed Charlie, carrying the injured polly on her back. She looked around, and wondered where the cave was. "Where is it?" she asked Charlie. Cutter dipped down and flew just above her, his shadow flickering over Alpine.

Charlie walking up a rock formation stopped in front of a boulder and rubbed it twice and noticed the notch marks and patted it twice.  She smiled she was on the right track and continued her way up the rock formation where she noticed the odd rock formation. Four rocks stacked together. She had made this rock formation before they had begun their training here on the plains.  She lightly kicked it forward scattering the rocks.  Then she contiuned on until she stopped in front of a huge rock formtion which might have been a mountain at one time. Moving some brush over and moving some vines over she smiled.

"Home sweet home" she muttered then she called up to Sunrise "Here it is there are some flat rocks in which you can land once you do I will take Alpine the rest of the way. Thank you"

Sunrise nodded and climbed up a few rocks which were flat enough and stood, waiting for Charlie to take Alpine. "Are you sure you'll be alright?" she asked, as she watched Charlie come closer. Behind her, Cutter fluttered down, hovering just above her head. He was watching them all intently. Actually, it was rather unnerving.

Charlie let out a soft chuckle as she took Alpine on to her back and said:

"Don't worry about us we will be fine it will just take a couple of weeks before we can get back on our feet then we will be on our way traveling and see what the world holds for us"

Alpine clicked his beak in agreement and said.

"We will be find Sunrise thanks for the flight home"

Charlie worked her way down the rocky hill slowly soon she was down it and walked in to her make shift home.

Sunrse smiled. "You're welcome!" she called after them. Then she turned and started to go back the way she came. When she got off of the rocky ground, she started to head back to where they had left Dusk, but Cutter dove in front of her. She stopped and growled. "What is it?" she muttered. Cutter turned to her and hovered, something that ordinary falcons couldn't do. Then he opened his mouth. "We went home. You and Cutter should come as well, especially Cutter. You know we cannot be apart long. Hurry." It was Dusk, speaking through her spirit pet. Sunrise sighed. "Okay. let's go. Oh, since you might tire Dusk by flying the distance, you should ride on my back. She's already tired enough from you two being separated." she said, and walked off as Cutter landed on her back. Together, they walked towards their home.

Once in the cave Charlie checked to make sure that Alpine's wing brace was tight.  It was.  

"Well it looks like we won't be training for at least another two weeks" said Retrace

"Jeez what a pity" mocked Alpine

Charlie laughed because she knew that Alpine hated training and of course Charlie was no big fan of it as well.

"Although we will be stuck here for two weeks living off the land"

"Well it isn't that bad"

"No it isn't"

Charlie watched as her two new friends faded in the distances.

"You think we will see them again?" asked Alpine

"Not likely friends come and go that is the way things are"

Alpine clicked his beak in agreement and closed his eyes to sleep meanwhile Charlie watched the horizon.
