She needed to whip him into shape. Their journey together only just started, but it is never to early to start training exercises. She called to him.
"bruce..... you ready?" she asked of him. He didn't as much as flinch, but Echo knew....
"Alright, bud, time to get started," she said calmly, nodding her head. Was he listening to her? She never knew, but they both seemed to understand eachother.......
He easily swooped down onto the shot stone, smashing it against his hard, outer body. It was easy training, but satisfactoy for Echo and Bruce.
"You better be ready for a better one!", she called up to him. "Here it comes!"
She threw the rock up into the air. Upon its return to the earth, it smashed into a million pieces upon Bruce's sturdy build. Echo smiled to herself.
"Hmph, like ashes..."
Bruce remained in the air, exploring the area and looking around for signs of life. Echo wandered around, but not too far from their training spot. It was to dangerous a place to get carried away...
The temperature drastically changed in this area frequently. Bruce enjoyed the changes, for it tested his abilities and helped him gain strength against the elements. Echo wasn't worried about him here. He wasn't all that bright, but he wasn't stupid. She trusted him....
He came back within her sight range soon after mid-day. He wasn't tired from his run at all; he was more ready for some training than before. She prepared herself agian after that short break, and now watched....
He came down to her, refreshed and ready for his training exercises again. His first test: the strength of his wings. He readied himself in front of the newly constructed boulder pile and....
....began to blow them away with the powerful gusts of wind generated by his wings. His power was amazing, she thought, as she watched him in awe. He was so small, but he blew the rocks away like they were nothing. Echo applauded him.
Their ground quickly became hot, forcing them to head off to another nearby region. They headed off, with Echo leading the way, and Bruce not far behind.
