But I have some news that's super-exciting for me!
So as many people here know, I consider myself a writer, and for a long time, I've been trying to get a job as such. I worked a cruddy retail position for about a year and a half before deciding that I wasn't going to take it anymore, and I've been sort of doing random freelance things since then. I've been keeping busy, but I hadn't really found a solid job that uses my writing skills.
Until this week!
Yep, it's true: Freezy is now a BOOK EDITOR. As in she EDITS BOOKS. That people READ. This is insanely exciting! Even if I'm not being published myself, I've always wanted a job working with books, and now I have one! Plus, it looks great on query letters.
But yeah. I'm an editor/proofreader who reads books for mistakes and helps authors sound better-er! And my boss is a super-nice person and I get to work with cool people and I can make my own schedule and it is SO EXCITING. AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT.
