He was startled when the new stranger flung his arm over Zion's shoulder and laughed. A genuine, full belly laugh too. Zion only frowned slightly, but in a way that said he was only reacting to being jostled and didn't mind the situation at all.
Nate was incredibly curious at this point, seeing such casual behaviour after being so scared of the man. A chuckle sounded from beside him and Nate's head whipped around. A woman was shoving a box onto his cart and seemed to be smirking at him.
"Paint a pretty picture, don't they, boy?" she cooed teasingly. Nate felt his face burn as he scrambled to busy himself with his work.
