The bright yellow orange sun was set high in the sky. The light reflection bounce of his golden feathers, making him glow in the early morning. The treasure rooksen walked a long the worn jagged path, with it's years of use. A hundred yards to his right was a river of magma, Chanlyeya stopped to watch as magma flow down the mountain. The rooksen continued up the steep incline of the path. Up head Chan could see a large fountain of lava coming out of the ground, making a river of magma. The rooksen could feel the sweat coming out of this pores, making his feathers somewhat heavy. Even the special oil that help keep the water from sticking to his feathers didn't help. I'm going to die before I make it up to mountain's peak. Chan knew it wasn't true, when he felt discourage, his thoughts always had a negative side. He couldn't see anyone around these parts, Chan wasn't surprised. Who would want to come out here? Flapping his golden feathered wings to get off the excess water. The heat had become to much for him to handle, luckily Chan brought lots of water with him. The rooksen knew what to expect when he got to the volcano. Taking off the ragged backpack, he set it on the dusty, ash filled floor. Chan pulled out a large water bottle. Taking a sip from the fresh water bottle, the roosken looked up the path. I have to continue, I made it to far to go back. Putting his backpack back on, he continued.

The Dreamsnare Roosken saw the other Roosken ahead of him. He smiled an evil smile. He walked toward the Roosken. "Why hello there," His voice was hollow. No emotion showed. It was almost in a monotone. But there was a slight, weird edge to it. He turned to look at the lava flow. "Pathetic isn't it?" His voice cracked slightly, as though he hadn't talked in a while and his voice was dried. He turned to the Roosken. "What would your name be?" He asked, keeping an eye on him. He turned his head and then looked back at the lava that flowed slowly down the hill. Beautiful sight. He thought.

Chanlyeya heard the dead pan voice coming from behind him. Pathetic? He looked around the area they were at, not exactly sure what the other creature was talking about. "What exactly is pathetic?" He did not trust the Dreamsnare Roosken as far as he can throw him. Chan turned all the around facing the other Roosken. An odd vibe came off the other creature, making the Treasure Roosken wonder what was wrong with him. The longer he stood by the lava flow the more he sweated. Excess water started to build on this golden feathers. How, Chan, hated the sweaty smell that came off his body. Ignoring that thought, he continued to watch the Dreamsnare. "Who exactly are you and what do you want with me?" Chan knew that the Dreamsnare did not want anything from him. He knew that the other Roosken just happened to be in the same area as he was. Seeing other in this area was rare. What not have some form of idle chit chat.

"The name is Sephiroth. Nice to meet you." He snickered slightly as the look of concern fell upon the others face. He took a few steps toward the lava flow, almost dangerously close. He snickered. He turned toward the Roosken. "So what are you doing on this mountain? It's dangerous you know." He smiled. He noticed the sweat gathering on the other pets wings. He was almost dry. "Fancy that..." He mumbled.

Was there something wrong with this Roosken? Chanlyeya thought there was, especially with the dead tone in his voice. The Dreamsnare didn't even break a sweat in this hot place. Was he a living creature? What the hell was wrong with this guy? Chan stepped back some, to make sure that Sephiroth didn't get the upper hand, if he decided to attack him. "I do not mean to be rude." He bowed slightly at the waist. Chan still keep his eyes on the Dreamsnare. "I have forgotten to introduce myself. I'm Chanlyeya, if you wish you may call Chan. It's a pleasure to meet you." Straightening himself back up, he looked at Sephiroth. As a warrior of the Earth Dynasty, he was rise to show common courtesy. Even if it was your enemy. Chan wasn't sure if this Dreamsnare would be his friend or foe. He just need to keep his eyes on him. "What brings you out here to the Volcano?"

Sephiroth looked over at Chan. He looked at the Roosken rather thoroughly. It looked like he was sweating quit a lot. "Good question to ask as to why I'm up here on the mountain. As to tell you the truth, I have no idea. But you seem rather hot. Why are you up here if you'll just burn out so quickly?" Sephiroth turned his gaze toward Chan. It was interesting to see another living creature on the mountain. However, he had work on the top of the mountain that was to be done. He needed to get up there as soon as he could. "Where might you be headed on this mountain?" Sephiroth asked.
