The building before you was a rather enormous one. It seemed old, older than time, perhaps, and the bricks that had made it were now tainted an offish cream instead of the original white they had once been. Oddly placed windows, labeled one through twenty-five were scattered across the front of the building, although it was quite impossible to look inside the windows. And surrounding the building were packages of all shapes and sizes, wrapped in brightly colored ribbons and tied with big, bold bows.

"Ah, welcome," a girl calls, waving her hand at you. "So you've stumbled upon the Advent Calendar building, have you? Well, I'm sure that you'll quite enjoy the prizes we have in store for you!" She smiled kindly, and directed you towards the front of the building...

Rules

If you post the next day, you will be given 2 more points. If you post again the following day, you will be given 3 more points, and so on. However, if you miss a day, when you post again, you will only be given 1 point. Does that make sense to everyone? The more days you post in a row, the more points you will get!

Jackie had heard about this advent calender thing. She had a small chocolate one at home, but she hoped this one would be much more exciting. She had tried to look into the windows, but found only large bundles of gifts. She walked into the building through the thick snow, and said the the girl there: "Hello, I would like to claim my points for today please." She smiled happily at the little girl and waited for her to respond.

Shadow was a little lost in thought when she, quite honestly, all but 'stumbled' across this building.
interested, she looked at its oddly scattered windows, its tall frame and wondered just what exactly this was.
her question was quickly answered by the girl tho, and a wide smile played on her face "Oh that sounds woderfull!" she laughed, then said "well then, i'd like to 'claim' my first point today." she looked at her
I hope its okay if I send someone else here often, I sadly personally dont have that much time at the moment..."
she tilted her head slightly towards Jackie, giving her a warm smile.

It was not Fire who had come today; rather, it was Aila--who, more often than not, ran errands for Fire when the Fenling was too busy to make the trip herself.  However, why she was being sent on this errand was more than just a little bit beyond Aila; she could not understand it, nor did she think she wanted to.

"I'm here to claim these... 'points' for today, or so Fire tells me," Aila said in a clipped voice.  "Also, I hope you don't mind if it's someone different who comes here from day to day.  I get quite busy this time of year, you know--concerts and all that lovely stuff."

Yes, indeed--Aila was often quite busy around Christmastime--and not just with concerts, but with making sure that her twenty-three fellow Gods and Goddesses had gifts of their own.

Kandi had heard rumor about an advent calender building appearing in the whisper forest, but it had seemed too good to be true. In all her years of living in Evelon, she hadn't seen it. But this year, it was actually there! She wondered if it only appeared every so many years or what, but now she was here, and she couldn't wait to participate.

"I'd like points, or whatever you do here," the common kuhna said in a cheery voice. "I'll be coming back daily," she warned. "I just love Christmas time!" She smiled happily at the girl who had greeted her and everyone else that had showed up. "My name is Kandi, if you have to record it or anything, but my caretaker is Jobiehanna, if that's important," she added with a wink.

The Myu Reaper yawned - something she couldn't all that much control since Toxic had spent the night awake and very shaken, thus, so had she remained out of dreamland. Despite staying up most of the night with the woman, she cheerfully took over the task of visiting this strange Advent Calendar that Toxic had heard about in the news. It seemed like news on anything in Evelon either traveled extremely fast or extremely slow, or so Xero thought.

After regaining her composure, she trotted toward the woman that seemed in charge of the very peculiar and fascinating building. Had she not been tired, she probably would have asked the woman a lot of questions. This seemed like a brilliant idea, after all.

"Excuse me miss, but I would like to collect my, uh, point for today. I have come on behalf of the woman known as Toxic Shadow. Most likely, I will not be the only one visiting in her stead, but I hope that isn't a problem," she said with a fanged smile. Just because she was a "Halloween" pet, it didn't mean that she didn't enjoy the Christmas festivities too. Heck, she was pretty darn merry when she wanted to be!

[Bug-A-Boo]

Bug-A-Boo had been traveling for months now, and yet she had never seen anything like this building in front of her. Enormous, and with windows scattered about, it quickly sparked Boo's curiousity, and she moved closer. Other creatures were gathering, and she wondered if perhaps there was some sort of event going on around this building. An auction, perhaps? There were plenty of items laying around for it to be an auction. And yet, these items had...bows?

Oh, so it was a Christmas event! As she moved within hearing range, Boo was able to hear the girl's description of the event. "Yes, excuse me?" she called out. "I'd like to get my points for today...that's how it works right? Anyways, I'll be back every day, if I can. I can't wait to see what kind of prizes there are!" She grinned, and waved before turning back the way she had come.

Thursday really loved Christmas. The book store where he worked looked like it had been attacked by elves overnight. If you caught them from a distance, both Thursday and his friend and co-worker Lottie did look a little elf-ish, so maybe it wasn't that far from the truth. They'd gone all out this year, Victorian-style Christmas tree and all, complete with ornaments that looked like little books. With a few minutes to spare before the grand Christmas opening, Thursday thought he might as well nip down and see what all this Christmas-related fuss was about.

Tugging his camel-coloured coat around him he walked towards the girl, looking more than a little hesitant. "Er, hi. I've come to collect my 'point' for the day, if that's all right."

[Cookie]

Well, what do we have here? An... advent calender? On Evelon? Oh, this was new. The Tengumi tapped his chin for a moment, thinking of what he should do. "Well, I guess I would like to collect my points for today, eh?" he was really good at keeping track of stuff so he would remember to come back tomorrow and collect his points again. He adjusted his monocle and nodded "Oh yes, I shall be back tomorrow at an appropriate time to collect more points from this 'Advent Calendar'" he checked his pocket watch for a second and then bowed to the lady who had greeted him when he walked in "Well m'lady, it is about time for my evening stroll. I will see you tomorrow"

Inferno slunk up to the building hidden here in Whisper forest. Technically, things like this were Carina's job, but the clone was getting tired from her multitude of duties, and convinced her sister Isabel to do this one for her. But then Isabel found herself busy as well. Doing what? Inferno thought to himself. Well, anyway, she was busy, so she picked one of her charges at random. She had actually chosen Inferno's brother, Kaguroi, first. But then, Kaguroi was away doing...whatever with his mate. Shiver was also unavailable, helping their mother with christmas shopping.

And so, here stood Inferno, the youngest of his family, not counting his new step-sister. Shaking from the cold, he slipped inside. Why was he always the push-around? And even more despairing, why was it that he was the only one who had nothing to do? No one to be with? Now he felt even more lonely than he had in his life. With a sad sigh, he stepped forward.
"I'd like to claim my point for the day, thanks."

Oh how wonderfully exciting! For once in a long time she was finally able to get out and experience some of the events that other Evelonians hosted throughout the holiday seasons. Usually by the time anyone else was doing something she already had the shop set up, and taking care of orders tended to be a full time thing. Even when there weren't customers she had to worry about taking care of any packages in the back, keeping track of how much money had been made, and all those other little things. Myuu had shoved her out the door today though and told her that she wouldn't be allowed back in until later that evening, saying that he and the other workers there would take care of setting the shop up. She knew it'd be more than a day's worth of setting up to do, but she did at least appreciate his sweet thoughts of giving her some time off, what with how the shop just closed from the Halloween events. She had gotten so worn down keeping the shop open for so long already.

Ribbons bounced up and down behind her as she walked up to the hostess, fiddling with the ball attached to the end of her hat nervously. One would think that the hostess of a shop would not be shy, but Elie actually didn't usually get a lot of human interaction outside of the days she was running the shop. In fact, aside from during the holiday seasons, no one had ever seen the young woman, had they? She once made up an excuse when Lord Baal was asking to take her on a date, saying something about he'd have to wait until closer to Thanks for Life Day or something along those lines. It had probably been rather confusing for the poor guy.

"Oh! Uhm... Well, this is my first time coming to this place. Or, well... maybe it's everyone's first time? I'm afraid I'm not sure how these sort of things are run. Do I just.... go grab a box or something?" she fumbled over her own words at times, continuing to mess with the little fluffy ball and roll back and forth on her ankles.

She then heard others mention something about points instead of gifts and her eyes widened as she seemed to suddenly understand. So that was it! It was sort of like how the shop was set up during Halloween. "I.. I guess I'll collect today's points then? Or.. point?"

[Thunder]

A brown hair girl bounced over to the Advent Calendar building. Apparently this was something new in Evelon this year, and she was eager to check it out. She smiled at the other girl and carefully read through the rules. It seemed that this event worked on a point system. Well, she supposed that she should get as many points as possible! "All right, I guess I would like my point for the day!" she chirped. "This is very generous of you!"

Oh how he loathed Christmas. He almost was like the old man from that one story. The one who says Humbug to everything. But Slick couldn't help that everything cheery and happy made his stomach ache. however, when his fellow co-workers practically threatened him into going for the event, he had no other choice. He sighed and tugged on his black coat fighting the cold.

Once he saw the large building, he loosened up his shoulders. Maybe this would be fun after all. He smiled slightly to himself and then listened to the instructions. Seemed simple enough, he would give it a shot. No big deal for big prizes huh? "Hello. I'd like to retrieve my point for 'he day," He grumbled.

"My, my," the girl had smiled at each and every person who came, pet and owner alike, and recorded their points until her fingers were sore. Now, she had only to tidy up the place and set it up for the new day. A bit of cleaning here, a bit of cleaning there, and the place was looking quite nice again. A few additions to the decorations made the whole place look even more Christmassy.

A sudden realization came to her suddenly: she had yet to remove the curtain from the window labelled '1'. "Attention, everyone," she called. "I'd like to show you our first window. I know that it's technically late, since it is now December 2nd by my watch, but I figure it's better late than never, right?" With a flourish, she pulled back the curtain to reveal a beautiful stained window:

"Isn't it beautiful?" the girl smiled. "It was actually made by our very own Talcen, and just for this event! A bit later today, I'll reveal today's window, so you can see that as well! Anyways, since it is now December 2nd...you may start posting for today's points!

Inferno stared for a while at the window. That was a...Piyo, correct? He'd never seen one before, since apparently, only one had resided briefly in The Beach, and that was when he was too young to remember. He wanted to show this to his brother and sister now, but Kaguroi would probably give him a noogie and Shiver would roll her eyes at him and call him a kid.

Once again, for the second day in a row, he felt lonely. Wasn't Christmas about happy times and being together with family? Yet, here he was, standing in this weird place surrounded by strangers, half of whom didn't even look like they wanted to be here. Luckily, Isabel had told him he only needed to stay 5 days, then she would send someone else.
"Hello, may I have my 2 points for today, please?" he asked. Then he sighed loudly. 3 more days, then it wasn't his concern.
