Undead Rising
The Past-- Cannibalism wasn't something that usually made the news. There were a few well known cannibalists, but once shock died down their doing were generally given the blind eye. Still...nothing quite like the attack on (First Victim) had ever happened before. People were never attacked in broad daylight in the middle of a busy town square...then again, victims never got back up and started taking their own victims either.
9:00 AM-- (First Victim) walked out his/her door to a regular day. Within a few minutes he/she was in the heart of the Slums. Not the best life but his/her job there put food on the table. He/She lived out her life in obscurity. Little did he/she know that through their...un-death...their name and person would be forever brought to light.
9:30 AM-- (First Victim) is brutally attacked by what was assumed to be a crazed cannabalist.
9:40 AM-- (First Victim) is pronounced dead.
9:45 AM-- Doctors are stunned to find (First Victim) walking about the hospital, albeit with a struggling gate.
9:50 AM-- The medical miracle known as (First Victim) begins attacking fellow patients and doctors alike.
10:00 AM-- The Zombie-fueled Apocalypse begins.
In Evelon there have always been those creatures whose 'life' has been questioned. Creatures like the Barghest, Kirund, Nightmare, and many others have often been categorized loosely as the undead. There was never a need to worry about a 'zombie invasion' pushed on by them. Co-existance was often as easy as breathing despite various eating habits. But what if, one day, there were real zombies? Rotting flesh, pitiless devouring of friends and relatives, relentless attacks, the whole shebang. An odd thought, but one that has brought life to many books and movies. Serious thought was never truly given to the prospect of a zombie invasion. That was merely the stuff of science fiction.
Until now. No what was science fiction...is now science fact.
Scientists working in a little known laboratory began experimenting with Mad Cow disease, the closest thing to a zombie virus' at the time and HaLa cells. A mutations here a hush-hush test there...And the ultimate answer to science fictions was forged. Named the _______ Virus after the scientist who headed the project, it was the very thing movies and books had taught people to fear within their darkest nightmares. To be infected with the virus was to throw away all pity and meaning. There would no longer be such a thing as 'Individuality' there would only be the Horde.
But this idea scared the scientists. if such an outbreak occurred they would be the first ones the public would burn. Si they swore each other to secrecy and agreed to never breach the subject of the virus again.
However, one scientist had different ideas. _______, the very scientist for whom the virus was named for, had different plans. Controlling an army of the living undead cold bring the world crashing to his feet in fear and awe. No longer would he have to work in a secret life, always helping, never receiving any credit or appreciation where it was due...No. This would be his time, and what a gloriously terrible time it would be.
_______ smuggled a container of the virus out of the lab and sought out a subject. He was surprised to find some who was actually willing...but this only served his purposes the better. Successfully infected with the virus, (Original Zombie) smuggled his/herself into the Slums to lie in wait for a suitable victim. That suitable victim turned out to be (First Victim). From (First Victim) the virus spread rapidly. What started out as a seemingly isolated attack that was known as the (First Victim) Incident, was slowly becoming brewing storm that spread over the country like an ominous cloud of apocalyptic destruction. Panic erupted consuming many of the populace. What would happen to them? What would they do? Was this the end?
All seems lost...but one group of brave and/or bloodthirsty individuals is coming to stand against the unholy might of The Horde. With them is Hope. With them is Survival.

Brief Personality|| Though he's a little smaller than most akail, Flynn loves a challenge. He enjoys testing and pushing his abilities to the limit. After a while he decided he needed a challenge that would be continuous, something that would never grow old. Thus, he started practicing the art of tracking. Flynn is constantly supplied with tracking assignments to keep him from getting restless, as he is prone to be if he doesn't have something to do. He has a way of talking, simply divine really....he has a way of making people see things his way, which often gets him out of sticky situations. For the most part though, he is a pleasure to be around, filling the air with jokes and bad puns.However, when he is doing a job, his manner changes completely. He grows serious and focuses to the point of blocking out all others sounds and thoughts unrelated to the task at hand.
