Volfax stalked into the stadium, yet again. He did not know his opponent, only that his name was Leader. He walked around the arena, trying to get a look at who his opponent might be. He spotted a shape standing at the other end of the arena. A Hunter! He ran as fast as he could towards him, trying to lunge at him.

Another round, another battle. According to the match-ups, his next opponent was another canine – a Fellox – and an elemental one, to boot. Sometimes the Leader was glad that he had no elemental affinities, but he had to admit that such powers often were beneficial during fights. Ah, well, he was what he was and there was no changing that. Noticing that the Fellox had begun to speed towards him, the Leader charged forward as well. He didn't have the lunging capabilities that many of these fighters seemed to have, but his claws had served him well enough.

Volfax had been hit rather hard, and was bleeding heavily. He turned back, and realized his attack too, had worked. Not as well, but it had worked. He pawed the earth beneath him as he readied to run.  He launched himself across the arena, and lunged at leader.

Oh, that had been a very solid hit indeed! That, or the poor Fellox was simply a lightweight when it came to defense. The Leader was confused as to why the Fellox wasn't utilizing the electricity humming in his fur when it came to attacking, but in the end, it didn't really matter to him. If his opponent wanted to keep lunging for him like that, he was entirely welcome. Facing the Fellox, the Leader ran forward in order to lash out with his claws again.

Volfax was tired of trying to slice Leader with his claws; it wasn't working. He looked back to his opponent to see if he had enough time. He charged as much electricity as he could into his fur. He ran towards Leader, fast as he could. He discharged his fur, hoping to shock Leader.

Again the Leader had gotten a square hit on the Fellox, while only being slightly scratched in return. How nicely this battle was working out for him! It seemed that his opponent realized how poorly his attempts were going, though. As the Leader moved forward to use his claws on the Fellox again, he noticed the electricity crackling in his fur. Even though he had a body of crystal, he didn't doubt that it would sting if he got shocked...

The new kind of attack seemed to work better than all of his others. He decided to try that again. He charged his fur to get it full of electricity. It was sticking out on end rather oddly, but that didn't stop him from charging at his opponent. He got as close as he could, then released all the electricity.

Just as he thought, that electricity was not something he wanted to hit him! It crackled around his entire body, making everything sting. At least it wasn't strong enough to paralyze, though. After the feeling of stiffness wore off, the Leader charged at the Fellox again, lashing out once more with his claws. With any luck, this would be the last hit needed...!
