Shawn strolled out onto the battlefield, staring at his opponent. Another Fellox, but he looked very different from the lady one. He had pretty plain colors, but that lightning around him looked really cool! And kind of dangerous. Still, it was nice to be polite to everyone, no matter what! Maybe he could make a new friend from all this fighting. That would be really, really nice!

"Hi!" he called. "I'm Shawn! Sorry we have to fight now! Can we talk later?" He was already rushing forwards-he didn't feel quite up to flying yet. His wings were still his main weapon, as he swung one forwards, hoping to hit.

Volfax entered the grand battlefield, and easily spotted his opponent. A Nago paragon was shouting at him from across the field. It was a sort of greenish-brown colour with large webbed wings. If he could fly... This may become a problem.

He returned the call with a loud "hello", and yelled back another response: "Yes, we'll talk later. Right now isn't a very good time... Seeing as we must fight now." He started running towards the quickly advancing Paragon, and lunged as he neared him.

Okay, that had hurt the two of them about equally. Being met in midcharge had taken a lot of the wind out of him. Still, that meant that they were right next to each other now. Shawn took this chance, while he was much closer, to try and smack the Fellox with his wings again. After all, it worked pretty well most of the time, as long as he didn't miss...

Volfax had really felt the affects of the Paragon's wings. At least his attack had also managed to do some damage. He saw the Paragon come at him again. He was much closer this time, so Volfax would not have time to get a running start. He could feel the static on his fur buzzing around him. That would work well enough.

Shawn had to grin when it seemed his blow had nearly knocked his opponent out. Then he gasped as the lightning crashed around him, then frowned. That hadn't actually done much! Well, good then. Maybe he could finish this quickly. He charged again, hoping to finish this all with one last hit.

Volfax had been hit hard, and his attack hadn't done much to hinder his opponent. He shook himself off and steadied his stance. He saw that the Paragon was once again, charging towards him. This would probably be his last chance to defend or attack. He started running towards the oncoming Paragon, and lunged towards him with all his strength.
