Pro. Layton just stood there starring. He had no idea what to say or what to do. He looked at Spike. Spike looked back. Pro. Layton turned to the others on the platform to see if they had any ideas.

Gallo and Zelos exchanged glances.

"Erm. I... really dunno what's going on, though leaving sounds fun," Zelos said, while Gallo barely suppressed a hiss at the arrival of new creatures. Too much company made him twitchy.

Pro. Layton Shakes his head. Leaving might be a good idea. Being around a lot of people made him think of the forest with the very snooty Dusk. He wanted to get out of here. Looking at the two new people, he had no idea what to do.

Spike fluttered around the platform, his version of pacing. They seemed to be stuck in a jam.

Haldir sighed and grabbed the reins of Elrond's penticorn and lead the penticorn away. This guy obviously didn't want to talk. Elrond sat on his penticorn's back in silence wondered what it would be like in  lambastia.

Spike did the unthinkable. He flew right up into the face of the man on the Penticorn and said in a nice voice, Why Hello there. Is the weather nice? Where are you headed? You look like a rancher. You look nice. Are you from around here? Life is an interesting adventure no?

Pro. Layton stared in disbelief as Spike rambled on about nothing right in the face of danger. He was a intelligent spaz.

"i..i..i guess life is an adventureand yes we are ranchers. My father told me that we are headed some place called lambastia." elrond said. the blaze and purine penticorn both neighed in agreement.

To make things even more crowded, a small group of humans at the far end of the platform were wandering uncertainly towards the middle.  The group was made up of two adults, male and female, and two teens, also male and female, and all wearing backpacks.  The teen girl was gently pulling along on a leash a wide-eyed Common Sahound pup.  The male adult, evidently the leader of the group, held a map in his hands, which he was kept looking over.  The teen boy wore a baseball cap and sunglasses.  As the group moved nearer, the boy caught sight of the Hollowheart.
       "Whoa!  Cool!  A dragon!" he exclaimed.  "Can we get a dragon?"
       "Let's concentrate on reaching Aldrect, first, before getting any new pets, Jason," the woman replied.
       The man looked up from the map at the boy's exclamation.  "Looks like a Hollowheart," he said.  "Unusual color."

Pro. Layton starred at the new comers. Why did they seem so popular? He looked around on the faces of the others. It looks like maybe having humans around, with there pets on leashes, mostly disgusted him. He jumped off the platform and headed towards the Shahound pup. He was annoyed as he stared to get a closer look. He walked up to the pup and asked, How would you like to be freed from your evil leash?

Meanwhile, Spike was just having a hoot with the others. So where are you headed with your penticorns? Why do you ride them? If I was a penticorn, I wouldn't like being ridden. How about you Mr. Penticorn?

The Sahound pup just stared at Pro. Layton with big eyes.  The girl holding the leash raised an eyebrow, but said "This is Radar.  He is still very young, so we're not sure if he can talk.  We keep him on a leash to keep him from wandering off and getting lost."
The teen boy turned to eye the Meji, curious.

The blaze penticorn looked at spike. First of all I am girl and my name is Cloud. Second, I choose to let Elrond sit on my back. Cloud said and snorted in Spike's face.

Spike looked at Cloud. Well Hey, you can't help a wee little Ferrikoon be curious can you? and i know that Sulfur would never let Joey ride on his back. I've only know one Penticorn. Spike shrugs.

Pro. Layton looks thoughtfully into the Shahounds eyes. He raises his wand and gives it a little flick. Sparks fly from the tip and land on top of Radars head. He smiles at him and looks at the boy. Maybe now your Shahound can talk. He smiles at the boy and looks back a the Shahound. Lets try this again. My name is Professor Layton. And what might yours be?

Siren and Nox shared a glance.
At first, to Nox, this had seemed like fun. but now, it was just... too crowded. This was just like what happened last time. Equinox got nervous around large numbers of pets, and he began to feel less enthusiastic about his idea.

Siren took the opportunity to lead the Common Kuhna aside.
"Nox, c'mon. Let's just get home."
With a little reluctance, Nox looked back and gave a small smile to all the other pets and people.
"Nice to meet you all," he said, "but we have to go now. Bye!"
He padded off down the platform with Siren resolutely leading the way.

Radar's response to Layton's magic was most curious.  First of all, he started, shook his head, and crossed his eyes.  Then he let out something between a bark and a yelp.  Finally, he blinked twice, and said in a loud, high-pitched voice "Naahm?"
