"I've been traveling back and forth between our world and Evelon to study the animals here.  On one such trip, I brought Audrey with me, and decided to let her get a pet from here.  She picked out Radar."

The group was now on the outskirts of Aldrect, with small, cubic white buildings lining the streets.  From time to time, they passed a street lined with selling stalls, the sellers eagerly shouting out to passerby.
"Now, Rayim said he would meet us in front of Koby's Sedukui Cheeses,  which is supposed to be on the corner of Market and Straight Street.  Looks like we've got a ways to go, if I'm reading the map right.  Where are y'all headed?"  he said to the other three that had traveled with them from the world bridge.

Layton looked around. "I'm not actually quiet sure my self." He says, embarrassed.

"Eh, just decided to wander in and see where you end up?" Jared said with a smile.
"I would get lost in this huge city if I tried that, so we plan to join our guide, Rayim, and he's supposedly going to take us to a house we're renting for a few weeks.  Sometimes he tends to take the scenic route, though!  How about you, Elrond?  You know where you're going?"

no not really i am kind on my own on this trip i guess really don't have a place to stay my father is supossed to meet me here but he told he would be here within two days so no i have no idea where i am going but if your guide is taking the scenic there is chance i might meet the two centaurs my father knows in which case i could probably stay with them. Elrond said

Layton laughed. He wondered if anyone back in the forest missed them. Probably not. Who would miss him and Spike? No one. Period. He was sort of popular in the forest, but not by a lot.

Layton turned around to the sound of approaching hoves. What was he doing here?



A Penticorn was approaching. He was staring intensely at the others. He walked up and said, "Why hello there, Professor Layton and Spike. What a coincidence seeing you here. Who're your friends" The Penticorn said.

Moonlight Elrond's Blaze penticorn trotted up to the other Penticorn. "I am Moonlight. Whats your name?" Moonlight said. Elrond walked with the group just then a girl ran into and both of them fell down. elrond got up first "Are you okay Alanna? I didn't think I would see you here." Elrond said and helped her to her feet and hugged her tightly. Alanna smiled and nodded at him. she was happy to see him.

Layton did a face palm and Spike shock his head, unhappy.

"I am elrond and Moonlight is my companion." Elrond said. "I am Alanna I don't really know anyone else the group except Elrond and Moonlight." Alanna said. "It nice to meet you sulfur." Moonlight said.

"I'm Professor Layton. And this is my friend Spike." Layton looked at Sulfur. He signaled him to lean down and he did. Layton whispered something in his ear that made him huff.

"Hi y'all," Jared said.  "I'm Jared Jonison, this is my wife, Therese, and my two children Audrey and Jason.  And our young Sahound, Radar.  Nice to meet you."  He smiled warmly - with just a hint of amusement?!

"Umm okay then. Nice to meet you all! I'm Sulfur, as I said earlier. And yeah. So whats everyone doing in Alderect City?" Sulfur asked curiously.

"Well," said Jared, "we're looking for our guide so he can take us to the house we're renting.  We're going to live in the City of Aldrect for a little while.  I'm going to study the animals of Evelon, and perhaps we'll take home some more pets."

"None of your business," Layton said with a hint of Ice on his voice.
"Umm.. How about we all do something fun together?" Spike says trying to break up the fight that might have started.
