((I'm fine with it
))
Oblivion's brow furrowed further at Garek's response, and confusion, though still faint, was now obvious in her expression.
"
I do not believe I have any need to be 'worried', no harm could come to me in these woods," she responded. Well, she had learned something new of these creatures. Not all of them could sense her kind, nor their power. Otherwise, he would not be asking her such questions. Then, in response to her previous question, he began to speak and Oblivion frowned slightly. She did not understand why his speech was so...broken, but she did not want to try and sort out unimportant things right now. The words themselves, however, the girl tried to sort through. Apparently, this massive creature sought solitude, a concept Oblivion was entirely uncomfortable with. Not only that, but he came here seeking it, a place that was far from empty. Not that Oblivion really knew what a city was like on this world, though she made a mental note to check one out.
As the child sorted through her mind, she was momentarily distracted by the wind whispering through the trees, which had suddenly grown a little louder. Ignoring the noise, she returned to her attempt of understanding this Garek. She did not believe Garek would be able to understand their language, if he even recognized them as words and not wind. Perhaps, she realized, if he could not sense what she was, then he could not sense the others that were here. That, in effect, would make him feel alone even when he was not. The furrow in her brow faded as she connected the dots. Perhaps though, if Garek truly wanted to be alone, he should be made aware of her kind's presence.
"
Actually th-" the child's reply fell short as she tilted her head to the side, as if listening to the wind. Something in those whispers drew her attention. They spoke of a stranger appearing in their midst. The presence was unfamiliar to them, unlike Oblivion who was one of their own or even Garek, who often walked their lands. Turning to the side, Oblivion looked in the direction the whispers came from. Another great form began to appear in the mist and Oblivion tilted her head slightly in curiosity. Would she find a new kind of creature, or would it be another Paragon like the one before her?
