In contrast to the Dead Coast, Sa'fir Coast is jokingly referred to as the world's largest pepper deposit because of its black sand beaches. They attract tourists, who can enjoy the tropical landscape of Barakka without facing its harsh environments. (+2 Endurance)

Volfax pushed his hardest against the lifeless tree. It creaked as it fell into the clearing. The Werecain looked up, but it was too late. The tree was upon it before it could even make a move. The tree had landed on the Werecain's back, breaking its spine and paralyzing it.
Volfax confidently jumped down from the tree, and into the clearing near the struggling Werecain. Knowing it had lost, the Werecain whimpered and lay still.

Volfax looked smugly at the Werecain lying helpless on the ground. He crept closer and sat on the ground, just out of reach of the Werecain's ferocious jaws. He knew it was barely dangerous, now that it was immobile, but the teeth were still sharp enough to cause ample damage. He raised his paw to strike the final blow. He had longed to kill the foul beast, but something made him hesitant. He lowered his paw and looked sorrowfully at the poor creature. He couldn't do it, however much he wanted to his conscience would not let him.

However much Volfax wanted to kill the beast that had terrorized him for so long, he simply could not bring himself to kill the helpless thing. The werecain struggled against the tree, but without the use of its hind legs there was very little hope for it. It howled and moaned beneath the dead tree. Volfax had carefully planned the trap, but he had never thought out what would happen if he had to kill it. He looked pitifully at the beast. There was no way he could move the tree, or help it.

Volfax suffered as much as the were win did. He knew it was over, and the werecain was dead, but it haunted him, knowing what he had done. He sopped and lazed around, and just felt pitiful. He didn't eat, he couldn't sleep. He felt simply terrible. His conscience was stained, and it could not be cleaned.

It was finished. The werecain was dead and there was nothing he could have done. He finished his mourning and buried the crippled remains of the beast. He found some berries and ate for the first time in days. They weren't great, but better than nothing. He filled a pouch with the rest of the berries and returned to the beach.

The tide was in, so there wasn't much to be had on the beach. Volfax walked along the surf, stretching and running in and out of the waves, jumping and dodging rocks. He found an interesting shell and carefully placed it in a pocket on his pack. He would take a closer look later.

The sun was high in the east. It was still morning. He had ventured quite a ways from his treetop camp, so Volfax decided he should turn around and head back. The wet black sand squished between his toes as he bounded back towards his make-shift home. He frolicked along the beach jumping in, out, around and through the waves. It didn't matter to him if his fire got water on, he knew it wouldn't go out.
He arrived at his camp shortly after. He lazily climbed his tree, and hopped into his nest made of branches. It was still early, but he needed to relax. He pulled of his pack and hung it on it's branch. He opened the pouch containing the shell and pulled it out. It was a conch shell. Swirled around a point in the middle, with small protrusions coming out from the sides. He put it back in his bag, and lied his head down for some much-needed sleep.

Volfax lifted his head to the canopy above him. The wind was blowing, and the leaves sounded like sand falling in an hourglass. He crawled out of his nest, and twisted himself to stretch out his sore muscles. He scratched his ear with his hind leg as he looked upon the horizon. The setting sun was shining on the water, casting a bright orange reflection.
By the time he had gotten down from his tree, the sky had turned a balmy red, and the ocean was mimicking its color. The cloud were cotton candy pink and purple. It was truly a beautiful scene.
His stomach was growling like a Fenref, so he decided to dig some food out of his pack. He didn't need to collect any food today, because he still carried the pouch of berries. So that was his dinner. He ate the berries and returned to his tree.
