Millie:

(( +1 post to try again. ))

Your luck is really terrible, Yai’yai. No sign of that egg though a very hulking seawinder seems to be turning away from you, maybe you did scare away a big fish?

At the back of this explored opening is... Is that hot pink? You swim closer only to see... it’s a piece of coral, broken off and stashed here.

GrayGriffin:

(( SUCCESS! ))

The fenref snorts loudly before rolling over, one savagely deadly paw stretched out close to your egg... But he does not wake. Lucky break!
Better get out of here quick before the fenref wakes up.

Well, this was disappointing. Everything kept getting his hopes up. A flash of pink here, a flash of pink there. It was ridiculous. He seriously considered giving up until the path branched off into another, smaller, and tighter one. It was a bit more difficult to squeeze through this one, but it was long, and above him, he could see a few seagulls resting on the surface of the water. He chirped in the back of his throat, before slithering down the path, careful not to brush the coral. Come on flash of pink; where you at?

I love adventurous tales like that. That uplifting feeling that comes from seeing unknown lands and the knowledge that you came across—nothing can replace it! It opens a path from which self-confidence, experience, and important friendships—from the sharing of life or death situations—are born! But hearing it just isn’t the same. I want to create my own magnificent story!

A great adventure!

Alfred slipped happily off the raft, his tail snagging the egg. He frowned for a moment, then turned towards the coral and egg 43. If he was lucky, maybe he could grab himself a last-minute big-point egg! If he wasn't...well, he could still see some lower-point eggs bobbing around. He would get one of those instead.

Crossing my heart
Open wide
You're my crystal and clover
All of me
Honestly
Is dedicated to hold you

Swear to God
Double knot
What would you do if I stole you tonight? (Ahh ahh)
Why waste time? (Ahh ahh)

'Cause the world goes on without us
It doesn't matter what we do
All silhouettes with no regrets
When I'm melting into you
'Cause I belong in your arms
I belong in your arms

And... the Egg had been swiped by someone else. X could have growled with anger, but seeing as he was surrounded by angry pufferfish... that might not have been the best option.
He carefully looked around, ducking his head to avoid the mass of fish. Well... there was one other egg in the maze... and since he was there, why shouldn't he go for that.

He was after Egg 43 now. But he had to deal with this spiny fish. Reaching out a claw he carefully batted one away, like a beach ball. What could possibly happen?

Stare in the darkness
Are you scared? Are you free?
I can be fair or a monster
Tell me now, which one do you need?

I can feel teeth tear into me
Rip me to pieces, rock me to sleep
I can feel eyes staring at me
Getting uneasy, ready to feed
I can feel teeth

Patrice was after egg #21 now. He was inraged because he had lost the first two eggs. He swam hard to the rocks where egg 21 was hidden. the rocks were a ways away but he would make it.

Just a little farther.
Siren kept diving through the waves, getting ever closer to the raft and the eggs on it. She was pretty sure that only three eggs were left at this point, total; if she got this one she'd probably be done with the event afterwards.
Well, she had done a good job so far, hadn't she?

Ahava was just about there, but she couldn't see the egg itself like the others before it.  Then it hit her.  "That's where I got one of my other eggs!"  But with that realization also came the fact that it was surrounded by sea weed, and well underwater.  Diving down, she could make out the wall that surrounded her target egg, and she began going even farther down.

You would never sing along

Because they took our love and they filled it up
Filled it up with Novocaine and now Im just numb
And don't mind me, Im just a son of a gun
So dont stop, dont stop until your heart goes numb
I dont feel a thing for you

Finally.
Siren carefully eased up out of the water and grabbed onto the raft. If the thing woke up, she'd just sing again-- if it still worked. She reached out to the last egg on the raft, the one she was after. Cautiously, carefully, she placed her paw on the egg.

Ahava was diving even farther down, and it was making her ears pop.   But ignoring everything else, she broke through the wall of sea weed, and there sat her egg.  Grabbing it and putting it back into her bag between her tails, she raced back up to the surface.  The refreshing air was a relief as she took great gulps of it.  Perhaps she had been under even longer than she herself had thought.  Anyway, there were only a few eggs left, and she could at least try for one.  "Let's see, how about egg #21"  she noticed that there was another person, another kuhna actually, but that wasn't going to stop her.  She hated to do it, but these eggs were important.  And after all, she could just go for another if she had to.

Millie:

(( SUCCESS! ))

Pink here, pink there, pink pink PINK! It was everywhere, like some completely natural bedroom made for a six your old girl, YEESH! Maybe you should just wiggle on back and get out of this-ohheyanegg.

It was pink, the same make and model as all the other eggs but it was a stunning, artificial pink, right at the end of this tight squeeze. Your perseverance has paid off!

If Yai’yai had been anyone else, he might have cried form relief. As it was, he quickly shot towards the egg, snatching it protectively in his claws. Finally! It had taken forever, it seemed, but he finally had his egg now. He turned then, and started towards egg 18. Maybe he could grab one more on his way out.

SilverSky:

(( +3 posts to obtain the egg for waking the sleeping beast! Same as last time; don’t need to wait for a reply or nuffin, just two posts. ))

The fenref jerked away, eyes blurry with sleep, whatever wakefulness that was there was blurred with rage. Couldn’t he just nap?! HONESTLY! What the heck did these people want, anyway?!
He asked his question through angry growling, barking and the snapping of his teeth. Yeeeeah... Really mad puppy. Good luck trying to calm this big bad beasty down.

Looks like he hadn’t been lucky enough to snatch the egg in time. He chirped in the back of his throat; maybe there was another? he made a quick circle, before he spotted it, and turned. Looked like egg 21 was in sight. Maybe he could grab that one before someone else did. His tail gave a mighty wave, and he sped through the water towards it.

Patrice was happy that he was so close to his next egg. He would be there soon. Just a little longer.
There! In the rock he could see it! He still had to swim a little ways though.

The waves crashed over his body, and he frowned. It was a long way away from the egg. But it floated haphazardly on the surface, looking relatively easy to get. But looks could be deceiving. He had no idea what waited for him once he reached it. Hopefully not the same thing as the coral. He might go crazy if he had to do that again.
