Patrice was directly above the egg now. He dove down and snatched the egg from the rocks. Yes, finnally he had gotten his first egg! Once he got back to the surface he was over-joyed to see his first egg. He started to swim, but then checked the map. He had no clue which to go to next.

Ahava hadn't even started out before another person got her new target.  Getting beaten to it discouraged her, but there was one last egg.  Swimming toward it, she headed back to the raft, her sights set on #34.  She probably wouldn't make it, but she had to at least try.  After all, she wasn't that far away from it.

Uh oh!
Siren jumped back as the Fenref growled. Oops. It was a little more awake this time.
the Hyrdokuhna's breath was shorter; for the first time in the event she was actually scared. Her voice shaking, she began singing again, hoping the fenref would go right back to sleep.

The foaming at the mouth crazy dropped to a low, growl as the fenref sat down huffily, raft bobbing more noticeably in the water. Over rall the beasty didn’t appear ready to enter the land of Nod anytime soon. Lullaby~ and good night~ come on you brute, sleepy time!

Alfred turned around and around, trying to find another unsnagged egg. Why was everyone else so fast? Well, he had bulk on his side, so he supposed that would be a deterrent. However, finally, he managed to turn in the direction of egg 21, still floating serenely there. Yes!

Siren kept singing, shakily at first but gaining more confidence. It worked the first time. It would work. It had to.
The raft bobbed up and down in the water, but Siren stayed upright. She sang clearly now, and with a small sense of relief she saw the thing at least lay down-- though it still looked pretty awake.
Just a little bit longer.

Struggling to get to the raft, Ahava swam as fast as she could.  Someone else was already there, but it didn't matter.  She just wanted to see what would happen, if anything.  Perhaps she could get the egg, but it wouldn't be very likely.

Siren looked back into the water. Someone else was coming. She would have to get the egg soon, or they would beat her to it. Still singing, she waited until the Fenref finally closed its eyes, then eased her paw toward the egg.
Got it!
The Hydrokuhna leaped into the water, making sure to put the egg safely with the others. People were close to nabbing the last two eggs, so Siren simply dove underwater and headed to shore. This had been very profitable; she had even had fun with it. Happily, Siren swam back to the beginning. She was done for now.

It was over finally, and Ahava let out a sigh of relief.  She had done well in the contest, and hopefully the eggs would amount to something worth while.  She headed back to shore, and passed the Hydrokuhna that had gotten the very last egg.  "Great job." she said, but not at all sarcastically.  She really meant it, since that frenrif had been wide awake, making it much harder on her.  Ahava wasn't really sure what to do now, so she just waited with the other contestants.

Everyone was returning from a rather long but (hopefully) fun event. At the beach there magically had appeared a few long tables set up with food and drink for the participants, lots of sugar and other really filling and delicious things. Well, free meal out of the whole thing, that was nice, right.

The boy, Jake, and Victis went about counting eggs and their points worth to see who had what in the way of points. When that was all said and done Jake went back to his platform of sorts, Victis at his side.

"Alright I have the total poits here!" He said, waving around a sheet of paper before pulling it back into view so he could read from it...

If there's any mistakes (like glaringly obvious) please post either here (required RP post or I'll gut you) or post in the update thread. Also I'd like to know what you liked, what you didn't like, what could change or be improved upon, just your opinnion of the event. Please try to be you know, not bashing. If you're just rude about it nobodies going to want to listen to what you have to say, you'll just sound whiny. Nobody wants to sound like a whiny jerk. Seriously, don't put yourself in that situation (I love you guys too much for that).

Alfred sighed, returning to the shore, but cheered up upon seeing the refreshments. He quickly sank his fangs into a cookie, gobbling it down in a matter of seconds. He frowned for a moment, then found a plastic bag and swept some more cookies and other snacks into it. He'd bring those home too!
