Riontro felt extremely lonely. And he thought that he was lonely in his pen. Ha! At this point he would have traded anything for home. Anything.Before this when Luke had been here he had forgotten about loneliness.
Even though he was arguing with Luke, him being there just made him feel better.

His tails twitched back and forth.
His whole body trembling as though there was an earthquake.
He felt like crying, but refused to let himself.

After weeks of wandering aimlessy through the large expanse of forest, Riontro heard the sound of cars and trucks zooming past. Roads were signs of civilisation. Finally, something to be happy about. He could follow this road home. It would be hard to get back, but he would do it.

Today he rested for a long journey. He found some raspberries, and even though he didn't really like them he ate his fill. And went to sleep with the far off sound of cars.

After several hours of walking, Riontro took a break. He stopped under the shade of a large tree. He slumped against the tree. He let out a heavy sigh."Aaahhh..." Relief. He stood up and stretched all six of his legs. He continued on for another hour or two. After that it was getting dark, so he decided to try to sleep.
That night he dreamed of home, his real home. The one before being stranded in the forest. At that moment he woke up. The sun was peering at him through the thick canopy of leaves, even though it was early. Riontro got up to find some breakfast. He scraped together all he could find: a few berries and a small mushroom. After his breakfast, Riontro started to walk again. He saw what seemed to be a clearing up ahead. He ran for it with all the strength he could muster. As he neared the edge of the trees he found that it was not a clearing, it was a road!

Riontro was overjoyed to finally have found a possible way home. He walked up the side of the road until he found a sign. He saw that the sign said BrookHaven, Home, was strait, so he kept walking strait. He found that the farther he walked the more cars there were. Riontro saw a store way up ahead. He ran as fast as he could to the store. He trudged behind the store there, he changed quietly to his human form. In human form he was just a boy, no older then thirteen.
He walked into the store and asked if he could get a drive to BrookHaven. The lady at the counter said "no".
He dragged himself slowly out of the store. He hid himself while he changed forms and quietly continued on walking.
