Chaos step in front of the kuhna, shaking his head in a no to her, Ayami however hadn't moved an inch from where she was sitting, instead she cocked her head to the side and smiled. "He doesn't mean any harm, honestly. Why don't you stay and talk to us, maybe we could help?" She question the little kuhna, reaching her hand out to kuhna. "If you aren't from around here then at least we could help you." She was hoping the little kuhna wouldn't be too frightened by Chaos' gesture of stopping her. Carefully Ayami rose to her feet and gave Chaos a look which told him to move as she dusted off her pants.

Strangely he didn't feel like listening to Ayami, and thus Chaos stood his ground giving the kuhna no where to run. "If your in trouble we'll help, but we're not leaving you roam this jungle alone." His voice took on an odd monotone sound as he looked down to the jailer kuhna knowing full well the rumors and tales other spun, but he wasn't the kind to put much stock in wives tales. "There are some pretty bad things out here, and it's getting closer to evening." He pointed out to both females, his arms still crossed over his chest. Taking his eyes off the kuhna long enough to glance at Ayami, who he noted didn't seem upset with him at this point.

Zoophilos: "Oh, thank you," the little kuhna said as she took the water and food from Rayim. She munched on the trail mix as she listened to the common kuhna. Her mind was wondering as he talked, thinking about what could have happened to her if he hadn't come along. But when he got up, the female was a little disturbed. What had he just said? Well, she figured he wanted her to follow him, which didn't seem like a bad idea. He had FOOD, what else could she want? So she stood up and trotted after Rayim.

Nyxia: The jailer kuhna looked over at the pretty lady, then toward the rough man that blocked her path. The lady seemed so nice, but the jailer kuhna was still afraid. "I don't know," she murmured. "I don't remember... I don't remember," she continued to mumble. Then she sat down on the ground as if she were exhausted. She looked toward the woman once more. "I don't want to hurt you, I don't remember where I come from..." Tears began to swell in her eyes as she spoke. "Or what my past was, what if I'm a criminal?"

Euwon: ((Since I've been sick you've had extra time to post, but since you haven't, I'm going to move on, so sorry. Maybe next time?))
The pearberry kuhna stared at Loso, but once she realized that he wasn't going to respond her happy face turned sad and disappointed. "You don't want to play with me?" She tilted her head sideways, but then looked way. "I guess I'll find someone else to pay with," she said dejectedly. Then she turned and scurried into the bushes, disappearing within moments.

Rayim noticed his fellow kuhna's hesitance in following him, and gave her a big smile as extra reassurance.  He continued mindlessly rambling assurances as he carefully picked his way through the thick plant growth, trying to backtrack to the trail.  As shown when they had first left the village, the thick jungle ensured that they would never see the trail until they were literally right on top of it.  After what seemed to Rayim like an unusually long moment of looking for the little path, they were at the trail again.
       "See?!  Here's the trail!" he beamed in triumph to the Eclipse kuhna.  "Now we just follow it back and we'll find where my friends split up.  It shouldn't be too hard to find them, once we get there.  Just tell me if I'm walking too fast for you, or if you need a rest, okay?"  Walking back down the path, he kept a sharp eye on her to make sure she was doing alright, even without her saying anything.
       It wasn't too hard to find the spot where the original party had split up.  The plants Chaos had torn down to make a path for Ayami marked it clearly enough.  Rayim thought for a minute of letting the Eclipse kuhna wait here, while he looked for the others, but then he thought that after being lost on her own for a while, she might not want to be left behind.  Rayim glanced down the other end of the path, where Loso had gone, then headed down Chaos' newly cleared trail.
       "Two of my friends went this way," he told the kuhna.  "The guy, Chaos, likes to make his own trail, as you can see.  They should be easy to find!"

Ayami watched the poor little kuhna slump down and felt a tug at her emotions; wasn’t this the same place she’d been some months before, scared and confused as to what doom she could possibly be responsible for. Without giving it much more thought the pierced woman reached out and pulled the little kuhna to herself in a secure hug whispering to the little furry being, “It doesn’t matter, even if you once were your not now.” She murmured not bothering to look to Chaos for an approving answer. “We’ll be your friends no matter what’s happened before this.” The dragon-kin tried to hold back her own tears, the memories of her own hazy past still fresh in her mind.

Chaos had taken more of a stand back-and-watch approach to the problem, but he too felt for the little kuhna; something he would neither show nor acknowledge. His cool attitude didn’t fade as he cleared his throat to grab both parties attention once more. “Like I said, we’ll bring you with us and help, but this jungle isn’t some place we ought to hang around in too much longer.” His dark eyes shifted about the area again, checking for both signs of hostiles and lurking dangers. He’d already figured his own way back out of the jungle and possibly to the woman who'd lead them there, a small over grown stone-laid road which by the look of it hadn’t seen use in some decades. “I know how to get back.” He announced to the pair with his back turned, visually scouting as best he could from their position back up to the clearing.

Zoophilos: The eclipse kuhna continued on after Rayim, hoping that he could get her out of here. But, what would she do once she got out? The thoughts began to consume her and she stopped in her tracks. "Where am I gonna go once I get out of this forest?" She knew for sure her previous home wouldn't want her, especially after she had been gone for so long. Tears began to form in her eyes once more.

Nyxia: The jailer kuhna was surprised that this woman was holding her like she was. A hug is just what the small kuhna needed, whether she admitted it or not. "Th-thank you," she mumbled with a sniff. She snuggled against the woman's chest, taking comfort within her arms.

[Zoophilos]

Rayim was rushing eagerly down the path, when the Eclipse kuhna didn't appear in one of his glances over his shoulder like she had been.  Rayim stopped short and turned around, and when he still didn't see her, he charged back the way he had come.  The Eclipse kuhna was only a few feet back, hidden behind an overhanging branch Chaos hadn't cut off.  She had stopped short in the path with tears in her eyes, wondering, "Where am I gonna go once I get out of this forest?"  Rayim was caught by surprise, but quickly recovered.
       "Now, now, it will be okay," he tried reassuring her.  "You can always come with me, until you figure something out.  I've helped others who have found themselves lost with no idea where to go," he added, thinking of Anthony and Mike.
       "Tell you what.  Why don't we focus on getting out of the jungle first, before worrying about what you'll do once you're out?  After all, even if you knew right now where you would go when you get outta here, you can't go there, because you're still here in the jungle!"

The pair eyed each other for a few seconds before Ayami stood up with the little kuhna in tow, quietly they made their way back up to the clearing which they'd split off from. Chaos keeping an eye out for the woman who'd brought lead them, Ayami hugging the kuhna. Once in the clearing Ayami sat back down with the kuhna, watching as Chaos went in circles in the clearing looking for at least the path back out. Once Ayami had caught her breath they started to make their way back, passing the clearing with the three paths on their way back out. "I hope Rayim is alright." Ayami spared as they continued back, her crystal eyes lingering on the path they'd taken before hurrying to catch up to Chaos.

Zoophilos: "Oh, okay," the eclipse kuhna said with a small smile. "Th-thank you," she said as she wiped a tear away. "L-let's go!" She said happily.

Nyxia: The jailer kuhna was content in Ayami's arms as she carried her through the forest. It was safe in this woman's arms, even though she was practically a stranger.


Up ahead of the small groups was a purple lucain waiting on them. She was sitting near the intersection where they had split off and just waiting there with her tails curled around her body and her ears alert.

Delighted and relieved at his fellow kuhna's change in mood, Rayim continued down the path he had been following, though now trying to be even more careful to keep an eye on his companion.  They soon reached a point where Chaos' path seemed to end.  Rayim sniffed about.  He wasn't an expert tracker, but after his time in this jungle with his Tuskow friend, he wasn't completely clueless either.  Even so, for a few minutes Rayim was somewhat puzzled at what had become of his two new friends.  He was careful to avoid showing any signs of confusion to the Eclipse kuhna as much as possible, because he didn't want her to think that she was lost again and become distressed.  He was confidant that he could still figure out where to go from here, even if it took a little longer than he thought it would.  Eventually, a footprint made by a boot stomped firmly into the ground told Rayim that Chaos had changed direction.  He turned to the kuhna.
       "Looks like Chaos and his friend found something interesting.  Let's find out what it is!"   Following this new trail, Rayim soon realized that Chaos had made a U-turn and was heading back toward the village.  He wondered why Chaos and Ayami were going back already. Perhaps it was just as well, though.  His new friend would probably rather head right back to civilization than traipse around in the jungle any more.  He informed her of where they were now heading.  They soon reached the three-way trails, where Ray easily found the path Chaos had made to here from the village, and headed down it toward the village, where they had first set out.

Chaos stopped in front of the purple lucain his arms folding over his chest. His mechanical arm involuntary hissed quietly, though his expression never changed from his usual calm as he stared at the other lucain. "So you've come back. We take a wrong turn?" He asked in a monotone voice, his eye brow quirking slightly.  While somewhere behind him Ayami had caught sight of Rayim coming up the path, and began to wave at his with her free arm keeping the kuhna snuggled tightly against her. "That's Rayim, he's a nice guy. Pretty much knows most of this jungle." She told the kuhna in her arms. "Hey Rayim! This way." She called to him happy to see him well.

[I'm sorry I'm so late.]

Sahara chuckled at Chao's comment. "Nope, just waiting to see who've you found," she said with a knowing smile. She could see Rayim with the eclipse kuhna not far away. The poor thing was following Rayim as best it could, but following none the less. The jailer kuhna, on the other hand, seemed content to be carried around by Ayami.

But someone was missing. "Has anyone seen the other fellow?" She glanced around, but he was no where in sight. He had seemed a little flighty in the beginning, maybe he had just taken off somewhere.

((It's alright. I actually kinda forgot about this and the 3 day rule, so I'll let it slide. XP))

[Zoophilos]

Rayim could see bits of Sahara's purple colors through the foliage, and he called to her.
       "Hello, Sahara!  Nice to see you again!  And look!  I found a talking kuhna!  I don't think she lives here, though!"  Turning back to the Eclipse kuhna, he said, "This is Sahara, the lucain who led us into the jungle and got this whole expedition started."  Moving forward, he added, " And there is Chaos and Ayami!  We've found them after all!  And they've found a new friend too!  Who is your new friend, Ayami?"

[Nyxia]

At the other lucain's question Chaos shrugged and shook his head a bit, "No sign of the other guy, he's either lost or gone." The expressionless man offered, trying his best not to smirk at her. "You sent us into the forest to find a poor lost soul with a case of forgetfulness." He told her crossing his arms back over his chest again looking towards Ayami. She was occupied with Rayim, who she'd gone to meet. "She doesn't remember her name, or much else." The woman told him sadly cuddling the kuhna a bit more to help her feel better. "What about you?" She asked the Eclipse kuhna with Rayim, grinning to them both. "I'm Ayami Tsukino, pleased to meet ya."

Sahara greeting the explorers, a sad look on her face at the loss of the other fellow. Perhaps he was just lost somewhere. Oh well. "It's not my fault she doesn't remember anything," she said to Chaos with a playful grin. "I told you they talked, I don't know anything else about them," she confessed. Actually, she had believed it to be a wild goose chase when she had been told about it, but had gone along with it anyway. "At least you found something, so it was worth the trouble, right?" She then turned to Rayim and the rest.

The jailer kuhna snuggled against Ayami and looked at the rest of the group. What was going on? Well, she didn't really care, she just wanted to get out of the forest at this point, as did the eclipse kuhna. The eclipse kuhna arrived on the scene just after Rayim. The woman with the jailer kuhna seemed friendly, but the eclipse kuhna was a little shy. She hid behind Rayim. "Well, uh, hi," she said shyly.

"She doesn't have a name, either," Rayim told Ayami.  "She told me she's been lost in the jungle and looking for a way out!  You don't need to be afraid of Ayami; she's nice!" he said to the Eclipse kuhna.  "And there's her friend, Chaos!  He's a little gruff, but I think he's mostly bark with little bite.  Hi, stranger!  I'm Rayim, at your service!  What's your story?"  The last part was directed at the Jailer kuhna.
