So I'm pretty excited to see what sort of pets come out within the Seasonal Specialties shop as candy point prizes, especially since Halloween is totally my favorite holiday. Plus, I figured we could talk about different things regarding the event. I'm pretty sure the only thing we are not allowed to do is show off our puzzle pieces, as that's been a rule in previous years.

I really wish I would have sent my pets to gather up candy more often. I ended up with exactly 2 weeks worth, which I think will pale in comparison to others. In the end, I received a total of 9 candy pieces (3 candy corns, 1 gummy fang, 2 blood bags, and 3 ghost marshmallows) and five puzzle pieces. From what I can tell, none of my pieces seem to match up either.

My guess, though, is that at least one of the Halloween prizes will be a Kuhna of some sort, since the revamp made them all even more charming. Though, if there is one, I really have to wonder what sort of theme it will have, since we've used up a lot of themes for the Kuhnas throughout the past Halloween events.

Also, did anyone end up sending certain characters to the collect the candy at the shop for certain reasons? I sort of just picked mine at random this year, rather than going with a plot.

None of my pieces matched up either, but I got a good amount of candy~ There go all my KS. ;o;

I essentially just sent random characters to trick or treat, though I noticed some of mine got increasingly evil as it neared halloween. xD I'm really hoping that the puzzle prize is a kuhna because I am so buying one of those off of someone. I gotta have them kuhnas. *O*

I only got a week's worth, thanks to work taking up all my time and energy. Got almost no RP done all October. :,D Still got excited when I got my candies, nonetheless. I cannot physically NOT be happy about Halloween events. I'm hoping a kuhna will be a prize! I love kuhnas sooo much.

I picked the pet I sent in cos... Admit it or not, he's a mega sweet tooth. It was either send in my lil twins or him. Ended up picking him just cos I know for SURE he likes candy; it's hard for me to make characters do things if I even slightly doubt they'd willingly do so.

Well, none of my pieces matter, but I'm 100% certain they're Kuhnas. A little bummed about the fact that I think I have 3 out of 4 of all three without being able to finish any of them but oh well. I got quite a bit of candy out of it (19 pieces), so I hope I can pick up something cool from the shop. And maybe trade candy points for a puzzle pet. I dunno.

I've found that the week's worth option worked pretty well for me since I have to work for 12 to 13 hours on the days I work. It takes forever for me to get near a computer, and I just want to sleep all of the next day because 19 hours awake = unhappy Azura. The only problem is that I'm, well, completely broke now.

As for who gets the candies, I usually send pets from my first pen post simply because those are the ones that are supposed to live in the house with "me" instead of having their own plots. They'll do the Christmas and Easter stuff, too. The most common is Muse, and he does just about everything. You'll see him running errands to all kinds of places- breeding center, raffles, events, and everywhere else.

No whole puzzles for me either, though I got 3/4 of one. I also only posted for two weeks' worth because of lack of funds [I suppose I could have gotten together more KS but that would have required posting in things, which I wasn't doing for whatever reason], which meant I only got on two posts because I'm lazy.

Usually with this event and Marketplace posts in general I use a character that I haven't really done anything with yet [sometimes one without a name] in order to give myself something to work with later on. I only did that with one this time, though; I've used Roman before for raffles and such [though not any actual RPs] because it seems sort of appropriate to have him be responsible for acquiring new species of pets, indirectly or otherwise.

10 puzzle pieces, but only one whole puzzle for me. I simply picked the most obvious "sweet tooth" character of mine and then used her for most of my posts, although I also used her brother several times.

I managed to get two whole puzzles, and then two pieces each for two other puzzles. Not bad, considering, and I had a lot of fun putting them together. I only missed one day of the entire event, so I'm satisfied that I got pretty much the best haul that I could. Candy-wise, I have two lollipops, three "Chaos Crunch Fins" (going by the image code), one candy corn, six gummy fangs, five blood bags and five ghost marshmallows. I'm hoping for a Kuhna prize pet too, though I'm just excited to see the prizes in general since this is the first Halloween event I've taken part in on Evelon, I'm pretty sure.

I tried to go in with a different pet every time, which was actually kind of daunting since I went every day rather than buying in batches. Add to that the fact that I came back relatively recently, and my repertoire of characters is still small compared to a lot of longer-time members (and it didn't really make sense for some characters to go to the shop)... I tried to start out with characters that seemed most likely to want to go, though by the end it was just anyone who could plausibly be given some sort of reason to make the purchase. I think the only one I selected specifically for 'Halloween'-y reasons was my Lykuhna, who went on the last day--- he's a werewolf based off the main character from the movie I watched on Halloween night.

I posted for a week and two days' worth of candy, and got three puzzle pieces from at least two different puzzles.  No puzzles for me this Halloween either.  Oh, well.
I used one of my oldest characters, who I nearly always use for this sort of thing.  But I also made use of the opportunity to introduce a new character, one who loves sugar!  Hopefully I'll be able to do more with her soon.

Most of the days I posted, I sent one of my zombie characters. He's a highly functional zombie, but he rarely gets out of the house since he doesn't want to be judged by appearance.

Also, I've never done this in the past, but with how few puzzles I'm being sent back, I'm considering making a section of the shop where you can exchange a puzzle piece or two for ones you don't have. I'd keep it limited like that since I don't want to break my own system, but it's something I'm currently considering. Any thoughts on this?

I would totally love the heck out of that idea Kyrit. ;o; 2 of my puzzles have 3/4 pieces, and the other 3 pieces that don't match I'd be so happy to trade in, haha.

I sent my Evelon self to get candy this year since I was lazy. xD; But I only have 1 week of candy (1 sour apple sucker, 1 candy corn, 3 candy fangs, and 1 bloodbag) and two puzzle pieces. So even if my two pieces go together, I can't solve it. :/

Kyrit: I know this probably going to be a no, but for those of us that have too few pieces to solve even one puzzle, I'd like to be able to trade them in for candy points or ks. Instead of just ks.

I think being able to exchange puzzle pieces for other pieces would be a great idea! Just from the posts here, it doesn't seem like too many users got enough matching pieces.

I also think it would be great to offer candy in exchange for puzzle pieces, as Mojave suggested. I know that we're already usually offered KS in exchange for them, but I think getting a reroll for a piece of candy would be really neat, since it gives users the potential to get some of the limited Seasonal Pets still, rather than just their KS back.
