Goemon leaned over Lupin's shoulder to peer at the writhing tentacles. "In a sense," he muttered, with some wince of disgust on his face. He didn't particularly agree with the consumption of octopus, intelligent creatures that they were. "The nerves are there, but the cognition is not. Take heart in that, at least. And it would be disrespectful to refuse what you ordered."
