...:Evelon Pets:...

Looking for rare and exotic pets that you can't get directly here from the site? Of course you do! That's why you should head on over to our forum, 'The Lands Of Evelon' and see what you can find!

First of all, in order to see where you can specifically find these guys (as random events), you may just want to take a look at these maps before heading out! These maps are two of many continents that can be found at Evelon!

*Map of Lambastia

*Map of Barakka

That said, let's get on to those wild critters! Please know that they will be sorted by continent. (If a pet can be found in a different continent as well, they will be marked with a * but their other location may not be named.) Also, as new pets are discovered, they will be added here! These critters may be available in different colors, and you may just run into something not even documented here yet! You might even bump into past retired pets or odd colored reguler pets at the Lands as well!

Colors are listed in order of appearance in the examples.

.:The Wombear:.

(pr. WOM-bare)

Available Genders: Male/ Female

Available Colors: Grass, Plains, Earth

Location: Vast Plains

Chances of Encounter: Uncommon

Notes: Found usually on the outskirts of the Vast Plains, Wombears are roaming creatures that usually dash under the safety of the scarce trees if an aerial predator is spotted. They have somewhat of a temper and trainers are not encouraged to try and pet or pick one up without taming it.

.:The Palmie:.

(pr. POM-ee)

Available Genders: Male/ Female

Available Types: Common, Cherry, Peach Blossom, Water

Location: Dead Coast

Chances of Encounter: Common

Notes: If you're lucky, you can see amongst a forest of palm trees lined upon along the coast a moving rustle, much shorter than the rest of the trees. This is an indication of a Palmie, mistakenly giving it's identity. These little plants are extremely shy but truly take to owners who give them some salt water from the sea that is a big treat for them, as they cannot venture too near the edge of the sea because they might get pushed over by the waves and never be able to get back up again. It is said that the arrival of these multitudes of creatures came at the exact time a specific trainer dropped a satchel of coins into the Wishing Well.

.:The Mr.Wilson:.

(pr. MISS-ter WILL-son)

Available Genders: Male/ Female

Available Types: Common, Wild, Night

Location: Terrace Park

Chances of Encounter: Common

Notes: Oh my goodness! Just LOOK at those adorable little converse shoes! Now how do you suppose they got there? We surely don't know, but they surely ARE adorable! Often seen in flocks littering the famous Terrace Park. Such a strange creature, trainers usually hallucinate having heard this bird speak, as several have claimed to have heard this creature speak in a slow, monocromatic voice, saying odd things like "Look at me! I'm yellow!" or "Don't carve towards your hand!" So strange...

.:The Hunter:.

(pr. HUN-tur)

Available Genders: Male/ Female

Available Types: Common, Emerald, Obsidian

Location: Basantha Shrine

Chances of Encounter: Rare

Notes: Sent by the evil god Xai're in pursuit of Iiylumiel's 'Eyes', the Hunters are a rough bunch who work under a larger and much more powerful Hunter, known only as the Leader. After yet another incident in the Shrine, these cursed beasts finally came to their senses and decide that Xai're's word was not ultimate law. However, though now free from the god's control, they remain unable to leave the Shrine without the aid of someone else. So, most Hunters, now that their Leader has left, must wander the lonely halls of Basantha until someone comes looking for them... Some say they once had a grand city in ancient times, somewhere around Craiss.

.:The Mekkayena:.

(pr. Mek-UH-yen-uh)

Available Genders: Male/ Female

Available Types: Common, Glitch

Location: Lambastia's Grand Cathedral, Basantha Shrine*

Chances of Encounter: Rare

Notes: Theoretically, these basic Mekkayenas is believed to be the prototypes of Xai're's current pets, his two most loyal bodyguards Domon and Zwei. Though these seem to have various defects, do not underestimate them, for they are still very powerful creatures who do not seem to trust anyone at all. The Mekkayena is a highly efficeint hunter but will not hesitate to prey upon the weak. Defects include short-circuiting, failure to compute information at random times, mistaken targets, and constant shutdown.

.:The Moonling*:.

(pr. MUUN-ling)

Available Genders: None

Available Types: Common

Location: Tengel Rainforest*

Chances of Encounter: Uncommon

Notes: First spotted at a newfound ruins that once appeared to serve as a library and temple deep in the heart of the Tengel Rainforest, these wicked creatures stalk the shadows for unwary prey and usually attack in great numbers, posing a serious threat to lone travelers. They have been known to eat young Kuhna Kits as well as much larger game. They prove quite formidable foes as they can 'phase' in and out of solid form, but are weak to elemental attacks. We here at the Zoo urge you to tred through the Tengel cautiously, as Moonlings are very hostile.

.:The Snicky*:.

(pr. SNIK-ee)

Available Genders: Male/Female

Available Types: Rusty, Ocean, Jungle

Location: The Slums*

Chances of Encounter: Common

Notes: One of the most adorable invertebrates that Evelon has to offer, the Snicky is drawn to decaying material, it's main food source. Most of this can be found in the moist, dense jungle around the Slums area in Barakka. When threatened, the retreat into their spiked shells and wait until danger passes.

.:The Akail:.

(pr. UH-kayal)

Available Genders: Male/Female

Available Types: Common, Pale

Location: Craiss Caverns

Chances of Encounter: Uncommon

Notes: Having moved into the Crystal cities of Craiss Cavern once the Hunters had cleared, the Akail are voracious scavengers who prey upon things that get lost inside the vast tunnelwork of caves. The lights on their 'stalks' and skin help them to communicate with others of it's kind and it's multiple eyes are designed to see especially in the dark. Many Akail do not do well in sunlight and prefer, dark and dank places to thrive.

.:The Inessi:.

(pr. Ee-NEH-See)

Available Genders: Male/Female

Available Types: Saltwater

Location: Nodia Sea

Chances of Encounter: Uncommon

Notes: A strong and hardy species, the Inessi are known for their amazing migration patterns all across the world. It is in the Nodia Sea however, that they gather in the most abundance before heading towards freshwater to spawn and lay their eggs. The Inessi are equipped with a blowhole, an evolutionary feature that, coupled with the Inessi's powerful front fins, hints towards an amphibious lifestyle. It is noted that they will often leap from the water onto banks in order to catch small prey.
